CLASS- 1 Summer Holiday Assignment Complete all the activities during the vacations. All the work should be handwritten. Original drawings/ illustrations and creative use of material will be appreciated. Parents are requested to just guide the children to complete the task on their own. All the work should be done in a scrap book.

ENGLISH 1. Read and enjoy the following stories. Make a face mask of your favourite character in the story: The Gingerbread Man Snow white and the Seven Dwarfs Cinderella Hansel and Gretel The Elves and the Shoemaker Little Red Riding Hood Rapunzel Panchtantra stories or any other interesting story Learn and narrate any one story in the class using props (face masks, hand puppets, flash cards)

VOCABULARY BUILDING a) Write your full name and your sibling s name in capital letters. b) Write any two naming words beginning with each of these letters. eg- My name- Robin R- rose, ring O- owl, orange B- Bangalore, bottle I- ice cream, ink N- nest, Nepal NOTE- Related pictures can also be drawn. To be done in the scrap book. 3. Have a close look at your surroundings while you are in the park. Observe how beautiful the plants and the flowers are, how people are having fun and all the activities that you do to make your day a memorable one. On an A-4 size sheet, using material such as dry leaves, match sticks, pencil shavings, cotton etc. create the scene of the park you visited.

Write 4-5 lines about your experience. 3.Prepare a wind chime showing the pictures of any 6 healthy food items.
