KINDERGARTEN SUPPLIES FOR 2015-16 The following is a list of supplies which the kindergarten teacher requests your child have for the school year beginning in September 2015. We are providing you with this list now so that you may purchase supplies early and take advantage of upcoming sales on any of these 2 0.77 ounces Elmer s white Glue Sticks 1 box of Crayola markers 1 box of Crayola crayons - 24 count 1 sturdy 2-pocket folder labeled with your child s first and last name 1 full sized box of tissues (not individual packs, please) Sturdy full size backpack (no rolling packs) should be able to hold 2 pocket folders (labeled with your child s name) Only folder and backpack should be labeled with student name
FIRST GRADE SUPPLIES FOR 2015-16 The following is a list of supplies which the first grade teachers request that your child have Sharpened #2 pencils with erasers a quantity to maintain at least 3 sharpened pencils daily - 2 DOZEN crayons washable markers 6 Elmers glue sticks a pair of child size scissors (Fiskars) box of tissues ( regular) dry erase markers (at least 4) school bag composition or 1 subject spiral notebook pack of ear buds (optional) available at stores such as 5 Below, Dollar stores, etc We ask that you check weekly and refill supplies as needed NO names please. Classroom supplies will be shared by all. REMINDER The Parkside folder will be used as your child s daily homework folder
SECOND GRADE SUPPLIES FOR 2015-16 The following is a list of supplies which the second grade teachers request that your child have for the school year beginning in September 2015. We are providing you with this list now so that you may purchase supplies early and take advantage of upcoming sales on any of these 2 hardback marble copy books (any color) 4 solid glue sticks 1 box of tissues for class sharpened colored pencils for editing during writing workshop 2 boxes of crayons (12 count) 1 for 1 st half of yr, 1 for 2 nd half of yr watercolor markers sharpened #2 Pencils (at least a pack for each month) eraser tops zippered pencil case art box (to hold markers and crayons) five (5) two-pocket folders pair of child size scissors (Fiskars) 1 set of addition & subtraction Flash Cards for at home use box of zip lock bags (1 gallon size or 1 quart) headphones or ear buds available at stores such as Five-Below, Dollar stores, etc. Pack of 3-4 Expo markers (dry erase) Hand sanitizer All supplies must be clearly labeled with the child s name since they will be distributed throughout the year.
THIRD GRADE SUPPLIES FOR 2015-16 The following is a list of supplies which the third grade teachers request that your child have 4 glue sticks (not bottles of glue) box of crayons (no more than 24) sharpened #2 Pencils with erasers (one pack for each month) 2 pairs of child size scissors (Fiskars) 1 box tissues 1 box markers 2 highlighters (any color) 5 spiral notebooks (blue, red, yellow, green and black) * 5 pocket folders (blue, red, yellow, green, and black ) * set of 4 dry erase markers pack of eraser tops bottle of hand soap 1 pack of ear buds or headphones - available at stores such as Five-Below, Dollar stores, etc. * Hard pencil case to hold all your supplies. * If one color is unavailable another may be substituted as long as the folder matches and does not conflict with another color * Additional notebooks may be needed later as original ones become used.
FOURTH GRADE SUPPLIES FOR 2015-16 The following is a list of supplies which the fourth grade teachers request that your child have 1 marble notebook - for spelling 1 three-ring binder and a pack of loose leaf paper - for writing small pencil case 1 pair ear buds - available at stores such as Five-Below, Dollar stores, etc colored pencils 1 box thin dry erase markers (2 or 4 count) crayons 1 pair scissors, must fit in pencil case 2 yellow highlighters 2 glue sticks (white). 4 dozen sharpened #2 pencils 3 pens for editing/correcting work (preferably not black) several erasers and eraser tops pack of 3 X 5 note cards and a small poly case for index cards (3.5 x 5.5 x 1 ) 2 boxes of tissues 1 soap 3 spiral notebooks (blue, red, green) 5 2-pocket folders (blue, red, yellow, green, purple)
