Live Vibrantly Gala Join Dress for Success Worldwide and over 800 industry leaders from fashion, entertainment, technology, media, retail, philanthropy and finance for our premier fundraising event. Celebrating our 22nd year in operation, this annual event will honor and celebrate the achievements of 10 of our Success Ambassadors. These women found Dress for Success in a time of need and have transformed themselves into leaders and role models within their households and communities. About Dress for Success Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. The women of Dress for Success have access to a comprehensive continuum of services that supports them at every step of their journey, from securing and retaining employment to financial education and leadership development. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to more than 160 cities in 30 countries. To date, Dress for Success has helped over 1,000,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.
Gala Chair Jean Greene Managing Director, Lazard Jean Selden Greene joined the Dress for Success Worldwide Board of Directors in April 2013 and has over 20 years of investment banking experience. She is currently a Managing Director at Lazard in its New York office. Ms. Greene has worked on numerous financial and strategic advisory assignments for clients across a wide range of sectors, with a focus on Industrials. Prior to Lazard, Jean was with Smith Barney. Ms. Greene serves on the Board of Directors of Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: AMRX) and Board of Trustees of Goodspeed Musicals, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, development and advancement of musical theatre, located in East Haddam, Connecticut. She is currently a Fellow in the Partnership for New York City s David Rockefeller Fellows Program.
Global Engagement & Investment Award JPMorgan Chase & Co Impact & Innovation Award Anu Aiyengar J.P. Morgan, Head of North America M&A Anu Aiyengar is the Head of J.P. Morgan s North American Mergers & Acquisitions Group responsible for the marketing and execution of advisory assignments in North America. Since 1999, she has advised both domestic and international clients on over $500 billion worth of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures / separations, leveraged buyouts, proxy contests, unsolicited transactions and special committee assignments. Ms. Aiyengar also serves on J.P. Morgan s fairness and valuation committee. As the co-chair of the Investment Bank's women network (CIBWN), Anu is involved with several initiatives across J.P. Morgan (JWIB, VPWN, Winning Women, Launching Leaders, JumpStart, Early Advantage) and Wall Street (FWA, NoW, WBC, Catalyst) to recruit, mentor and develop women. She is also involved with Asia Society, World Music Institute and Pratham. Anu is a panelist and speaker at several events including Women Corporate Directors, Women s Private Equity Summit, The Asian Women in Business, and the South Asian Bar Association Leadership Awards. She is also a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, and Chicago Booth; as well as a speaker at several women s businesses conferences across financial organizations, law firms and business schools. Ms. Aiyengar is frequently quoted in the financial press and media and most recently appeared on TheStreet s new series Alpha Rising and as Deal Doyenne of Wall Street in latest issue of The Brunswick Review. Ms. Aiyengar lives in New York City with her husband. She holds a BA in economics from Smith College and a MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Corporate Citizenship Award Moët Hennessy North America Jim Clerkin, President & CEO, Moët Hennessy North America Over his 35-year career, Jim Clerkin has worked for many prominent companies in the wine and spirits industry. He began in Ireland, where he rose through the ranks at Guinness to ultimately become an executive member of the Board of Directors. In 2008, Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of LVMH, recruited Jim to take on a new role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Moët Hennessy USA, with responsibility for global brands such as Hennessy, Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Belvedere. In 2010, Jim was appointed to the position of CEO and President of Moët Hennessy USA, and also became part of Moët Hennessy s Global Executive Team. His role expanded to Mexico and Canada in 2015 to make him the President and CEO of Moët Hennessy North America. Outside of work, Jim is the Chairman of Co-operation Ireland in the U.S., which is a nonprofit that promotes peace and a sustained reconciliation in his home country of Ireland. He joined its board in Ireland in 1994, and became Chairman in 1997, based in Dublin. Jim then founded a West Coast chapter when he moved to San Francisco and became U.S. Chairman in New York City in 2004. The organization is supported by Her Majesty, the Queen of England, and His Excellency, the President of Ireland, as joint patrons. He currently resides in New York City, and is committed to supporting various philanthropic causes both in the U.S. and abroad.
