Solid Solid Boleform products can come as: A. Loose individual pieces usable as single units. One board works as one shelf for example. B. Matched and combined pieces. Pieces of different shape and size forming a set. C. Sideways glued solid panels- Solid live edge pieces cut by special fingerjoint profile to allow perfect side pressure glue connection. Fingerjoint connection Sidewise glued solid panel Dovetail Combined, but unattached set of pieces. Matching shape, but different edge structure applied. Upon request edges can be squared or beveled. Bolefloor recommends bevels as they stress the natural effect. Bevels can be applied to any product thickness above 1 mm. Square edges between lamellas Beveled edges between lamellas Generally details are to be viewed from A side and edges only, if the piece has to be visible from both, A and B side it has to be communicated specially and standard thickness may vary. Custom drilling and routing can be provided upon request. Putty, Thermelt thermoplast and plugs are allowed in rustic and natural grade standard. Custom standards or alternative putties can be applied. Applications: Tables, Shelves, Kitchen cabinets, Beds, Wardrobe elements, Benches, Drawer panels, Cupboard doors. Veneer Boleform live edge veneer is made to be used in any gluing application, in combination with substrate materials: MDF, Plywood, Particleboard, Paper honeycomb etc. Bolefloor live edge veneer can come: A. In numbered loose panels to be composed by client among others may be utilised for very wide and long applications. Each piece is numbered and easily to assemble. B. In assembled lamella shirts taped together with masking tape standard solution. Tape has to be sanded down after gluing to substrate. Min 0,2 mm. sanding down might be required in order to get appropriate surface for later finishing. Taped lamella shirt Upon request lamella shirt can contain either: full length lamellas, a cool and noble looks several lamellas in a row, softer and more natural looks Lamellas laying direction would normally follow the longer end of the lamella shirt, but upon request can be parallel to the shorter end of the lamella shirt. Lamellas in a shirt can have beveled edges upon request. Bolefloor suggests bevels as they emphasize the natural look of timber. Lamella with beveled edge
Veneer Other factors emphasizing Boleline s natural efect are visible sapwood lines, inlays, combining sideways big colour differences within the same timber species and or combining different timber species in the same layout. All Boleform lamella shirts come with live edge joints inside panels, however the outside perimetre of lamella shirts can be: Straight edged Live edged Patterned edged to retain live edge looks, but allow pattern continuation. Lamella shirts can come either in: Random pattern Guided pattern with preplanned cutpaths With guided pattern cut lines can follow the edges of doors drawers etc. Applications: All veneering applications.

Veneer bonded boards Boleform veneer bonded panels are produced by gluing single lamella or a number of matching lamellas onto any substrate, MDF, plywood, particleboard, honeycomb etc... Any other choice of substrate materials can be discussed. Boleform Veneer bonded panels can be: one sided, for example 3,2 mm lamella + 12 mm substrate or two sided, for example 3,2 mm lamella +10 mm substrate+ 3,2 mm lamella. Other combinations are possible, another example: 3,2 mm lamella +28 mm particleboard + 0,56 mm standard oak veneer (not live edge for 0,56 mm oak veneer). All Boleform veneer bonded panels can come with live edge joints inside panels, however the outside perimetre of lamella shirts can be: Straight edged Live edged Patterned edged to retain live edge looks, but allow pattern continuation. Pattern continuation can be achieved in shorter end as well.
Veneer bonded boards Panel edges can be untreated, edgebanded with 0,56 mm veneer, edgebanded with 2 mm veneer and or have frame structure as an edge. Live edge for the whole panel can be applied with all edge treatment requests. Edge banding can be on top of surface lamellas or sunk under surface lamellas. Edgebanded with 2 mm oak Edged with 40 mm frame structure Panel edge upper corners can be untreated = square edged or beveled or rounded. Square edged Beveled Rounded Edge bevelling can be done on any lamella live edge within the panel upon request. Bolefloor suggests bevels as they emphasize the natural look of timber. Lamella with beveled edge Custom drilling and routing can be provided upon request.
Veneer bonded boards Boleform bonded boards can come either in Random pattern Guided pattern with preplanned cutpaths With guided pattern cut lines can follow the edges of doors drawers etc. Applications Tabletops, Wall panels, Kitchens, Wardrobes, Stair steps and other furniture and interior applications. Technical Width of single panel from 200 mm to 1250 mm. Standard lenght of a single panel from 500 mm to 3000 mm. Upon special quotation up to 6500 mm. Features influencing the pricing and availability of any particular inquiry would be: The size and thickness of a product; The required length of boards needed to make the product; Amount of product; Timber species involved; Loose or glued together pieces; If multilayer, then the core material dimensions and specifics; Are the edges of each lamella beveled or not; Putty application requirements; Gluing specifics depending from outer edge requirements; Product edge alignment specifics- live-edge or straight; Product edge treatment specifics, framing, edgebanding or other; Would B side have to remain visible or not; Are inlays or special effects used; Is FSC timber required.
Tops and fronts Furniture tops and fronts can be designed as a single solid piece of wood, sideways glued solid panel or with multilayer structural buildup. A single piece of carefully selected timber can serve as a worktop or drawer front. When wider piece is needed, boards would be sideways glued together by matched live edge. For more stable performance both these solutions may be glued onto a core material to get a multilayer structure. Dovetail or other cutouts to hidden side may be applied for inserts to guarantee structural stability. Dowel holes can be drilled along the live edge to stabilize whole panel upon request. An example of drawer front buildup: Boleform solid oak piece 18 mm or Boleform 3,2 mm lamella glued on 15 mm MDF. An example of worktop buildup: 20 mm solid pieces glued sideways, dovetail cutouts and corresponding inserts on the bottom side and a glued 20 mm solid piece along the front side cut to match the live edge pattern to give the worktop 40 mm looks. All Boleform veneer bonded panels can come with live edge joints inside panels, however the outside perimetre of lamella shirts can be: Straight edged Live edged Patterned edged to retain live edge looks, but allow pattern continuation. Pattern continuation can be achieved in shorter end as well.
