Let s start by making a list of everything that makes you feel happy. Fill in each circle with as many things as you can think of that fit under each section. people activities places belongings

Explore Self Expression What makes you happy is part of what makes you uniquely you. And, being true to who you are is essential when it comes to setting your goals. Because you are more likely to work towards what you want vs. what others want for you. Fill in the mind-map below. Write anything and everything that pops into your head. What others love about me... Times where I have been brave are... I am really good at... What I love about myself... My courage to be brave comes from... I want to be better at... When I have failed at something, I learned...

Discover your dreams because they are your compass to setting powerful goals. Dreams are the things you would do if nothing stood in your way. Reflect back on what makes you happy, and what makes you YOU, from the last two activities. Now, take a minute to imagine your life, if nothing stood in your way? Use the space provided to write or draw what you see.

Look back at the dreams you have created on the previous page. Goals are what can help you get closer to achieving those dreams. When you think of setting a goal, think, what can I do today, tomorrow, and over the next 6-12 months that will bring me closer to my dreams. For example, if your dream is to play the guitar, goals that will get you closer to playing the guitar are: you sign up for guitar lessons, you learn at least three chords, and you learn to play your favourite song. When you write your goals, you ll want to write them in a way that will help you achieve them and they should be specific. be brave believe by-what-date you set a goal that challenges you and asks you to be brave you believe in your ability to achieve your goal give yourself a date you will complete your goal by (typically in 6-12 months) Keeping in mind be brave, believe in you, and by-what-date, let s look to a dream that lights you up, as your compass for writing your goals. my dream is: My goal that will get me closer to my dream is by My goal that will get me closer to my dream is by My goal that will get me closer to my dream is by Read your goals and double check that you believe you can do it, that it will invite you to be brave and challenge you in some way, and finally, that it s something you can complete within the next 6-12 months.

Your goals are set! Now it s all about sticking to it. When it comes to achieving your goals you want to keep these four things in mind: practice something every day to help you get closer to your goal. Post your goals somewhere you can see them. To get closer to my goals every day I can practice Be responsible and make sure you are sticking to your practice. Share your goal with your family and the friends who support you. I m going to share my goals with perseverance = never giving up. Steer clear of things that might slow you down from reaching your goal and create ways to overcome any challenges. Things that might slow me down from reaching my goals are I can overcome these obstacles by Failure or falling short of your goal can happen. have no fear! Sometimes not achieving your goals, is just as important as achieving them because it will teach you things you wouldn t have learned if you had succeeded the first time around.
