RESTRICTED GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TARIFFS AND TRADE L/2325 23 December 1964 Limited Distribution CENTRAL AMERICAN ECONOMIC INTEGRATION Annual Report (1964) by the Government of Nicaragua Original: Spanish The secretariat has received from the Government of Nicaragua the following report on Nicaragua's trade in 1963 with the other members of the Central American' area (except Costa Rica) under the General Treaty for Central American Economic Integration of 13 December i960. Imports under the General Treaty in 1963 amounted to US$5»170,687 (c.i.f. value), representing 70.32 per cent of imports whether or not covered by the Treaty, which reached a total of US$7,353»238 during the same period. Exports covered by the General Treaty in I963 amounted to US$3,014,647 (f.o.b. value), representing 63.35 per cent of exports whether or not covered by the General Treaty, which amounted to US$4,759,006 during the same period, Imports covered by the General Treaty in 1963 represented 4.67 per cent of total imports from all sources, which amounted to US$110,787,096 in that year. Exports covered by the General Treaty in 1963, represented 2.82 per cent of total exports to all countries, which amounted to US$106,766,576 in that year. Attached to this report you will find two lists indicating trade in the principal goods exchanged between Nicaragua and the other Central American countries under the General Treaty for Central American Economic Integration.
