Terri has held past positions at the Dallas Chapter of Government Relations Director and Public Relations Director. She won the Special Recognition Award for the Dallas Chapter in 2005. Terri has served on several committees with the Dallas Chapter since joining in 2003. Terri started in the payroll field in the early 80 s when she worked at a roofing company in Dallas. She served as Secretary-Treasurer on the board of directors for the roofing company until 1996. Terri took the position of Payroll Manager for Horizon Pharmacies until they closed in 2001. Terri and her husband Glynn of 30+ years have three sons and a 4 year old grandson. CARL YORK, CPP - PRESIDENT-ELECT Carl, reporting directly to the Vice President and Controller, manages US Payroll Operations for La Quinta Inns & Suites (LQ Management, LLC), one of the largest operators of limited-service hotels in the United States. His department is responsible for the payment of approximately 8,500 active employees at 400 locations across 42 states and for issuing nearly 20,000 W-2 s annually. Carl is also tasked with the management of payroll systems and payroll tax, and he regularly serves on various committees at work with members from the Executive Committee, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and Accounting.

Carl proudly acquired the Certified Payroll Professional designation in the Spring of 2005, and he is currently pursuing a BBA in Accounting. Nationally, Carl has been volunteering for the American Payroll Association since 2006 and has received three citations of merit. He currently serves on the CHAMPS program, the Hotline Referral Committee, and as the Recorder (Secretary) for the Government Affairs Task Force Immigration Subcommittee. In 2008, Carl spoke at the National APA s Chapter Leadership Seminars on Website Development. In May of 2009, Carl spoke at the APA s 27th Annual Congress with representatives from USCIS and ICE on the E- Verify program, and he has been asked back for the same session in 2010. Also in 2009, Carl became a member of the Certification Advisory Group, which writes questions for the CPP and FPC exams, and he currently serves on the APA s Certification Board CPP Committee. In September of 2009, Carl received the Judith Houghton Scholarship at the 20th Annual Texas Payroll Conference. He has been asked to teach at the 2010 Texas Payroll Conference and is very excited about the unique opportunity to give back to the payroll profession. Carl was appointed as a non-voting board member with the Dallas Chapter as Website Liaison in November of 2005. He was elected as the Website Director in 2006 and served in that position until March 2009. As Website Director, Carl was privileged to interface with each position on the board and work together with them on various projects. While in that position, the Dallas Chapter received multiple website awards including first place in 2007. Carl has also been an instructor for the Chapter at its educational classes held at North Lake College, and he is currently serving as the Dallas APA s Vice President. BARBARA MAXWELL, CPP - VICE PRESIDENT Barbara is the Senior Manager of Accounting for BenefitMall, the largest general insurance agency in the United States. She is responsible for all areas of accounting, payroll and financial reporting. Barbara recognizes her exceptional staff as the reason for her success with BenefitMall. Her team has been together since 2000 and they have the ability to produce a remarkable amount of accurate and timely work. Barbara began working in the accounting/payroll arena over 20 years ago. After obtaining her Bachelor s degree in the mid 1990 s, she moved into management. Barbara has worked all of the positions she currently manages. This allows her to quickly understand and resolve issues, identify and refine processes and meet deadlines. Barbara s payroll experience started in the early 1980 s - her software was a Circular E and a calculator. Through the years, she has implemented five different payroll/hr systems and has processed payroll and completed tax reporting for employees in more than 20 states. Barbara received her CPP in the spring of 2003 and was re-certified in January 2009. Barbara has been a member of the Dallas APA chapter since 2000, and an active volunteer since 2002. In 2004, the chapter presented Barbara with a Special Recognition Award for her volunteer efforts. During 2009, she held the board position of Program Director.

BRYAN J. WALDROP, MBA, CPP - SECRETARY Bryan completed his BSBA in Finance and MBA in Management from the University of MO before moving to the Lone Star State in the early 1990 s. He will celebrate his 16 Year Anniversary with ADP in April. He worked as a Key Account Manager in Client Services, a Lead Major Accounts Implementation Specialist, and an Implementation Support Specialist before stepping into his current role as Implementation Team Lead. Bryan received his CPP certification in 2006 and joined the Dallas APA chapter in 2008 where he is currently serving as Secretary of the Dallas Chapter. One of his primary goals in 2009 is to promote effective relationships within the Payroll community and is excited to be a part of the Dallas APA! BECKY MATHER, CPP - TREASURER With a degree in Accounting and a background in banking and finance, Becky Mather s career turned toward payroll in the mid 80 s while working for Control Data Corp., Benefit Services, in Plano Texas. After moving to Indianapolis, Indiana in late 1992 Becky took a position processing In House payroll for a company of 300. The Human Resource Manager position was then offered to her along with Supervisor of Payroll in 1996. She sat for and passed her CPP exam in September 1997. This experience has brought her to her current job as a Payroll and H. R. Consultant. Becky served two terms as Secretary and two terms as Treasurer of the Indianapolis Chapter APA before moving back to Dallas in 2001. Becky has since served five terms as the Dallas Chapter Treasurer and currently is serving as Treasurer of both the Dallas Chapter and The Texas Payroll Conference. DANIEL MORALES, CPP - MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR Daniel Morales, CPP has over 13 years of multi-state payroll experience which includes HRMS and accounting systems testing and implementations. Daniel started his career in payroll at a local commercial construction company. Currently, Daniel is an Assistant Payroll Supervisor for a chemical company located in Irving, TX. Daniel has worked his way up through many roles within payroll and HR in both functional and technical positions. Daniel was among the first within his company to earn his CPP designation and has strived to maintain his certification through ongoing payroll training and education. When not working or studying, Daniel enjoys traveling near and far to appreciate and explore all that the world has to offer. He enjoys spending lots of time with his friends and family and his favorite German Shepherd Doberman mix, Britney. SUSAN CHARLES, CPP - EDUCATION DIRECTOR Susan began her Payroll career in 1984 working her way up through the ranks by starting with manual time card calculations. While working with the Texas Department of Human Services, she supervised the

staff responsible for paying over 2,000 employees in the largest region in the state. Her department established the lowest Payroll error rating of any region in the state. She then moved to the City of Arlington where she processed an annual payroll in excess of $90 million dollars, compiled a training manual, and conducted training for their in-house payroll system. Susan obtained her CPP in 1996 while employed with the City of Arlington. After owning her own business for a couple of years, Susan worked for a payroll service company as their Tax Specialist preparing tax deposits and returns for over 360 multi-state clients. During the 7-1/2 years Susan was with Administaff she held 5 different positions; received a Team Player award for her training efforts at their Los Angeles Service Center; and was recognized as the Employee of the Month in March of 2007. Susan was the Payroll Supervisor with GameStop for 2 years where she led a wonderful team of 8 dedicated payroll professionals through the complexities of paying 55,000+ employees in all 50 states plus Guam and Puerto Rico. While there, she played a vital role of mentor and teacher and assisted the majority of her team with achieving their FPC certification. Most recently Susan was the Payroll Manager for NEC. In 2008 Susan was nominated for the Texas Payroll Professional of the Year. Susan has been an active member in the Dallas Chapter of the APA since 1995 and has taught several Payroll classes for the Chapter at North Lake College. In 2002, she was recognized with the Chapter s Meritorious Service award and is currently the chapter s Education Director. ROBIN HARRIS, CPP - PROGRAMS DIRECTOR Robyn Harris is the Exec. Director of Payroll & Stock for Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. who employees 9,000+ employees in 21 countries and in 28 states. She has been at the company since 1990. Robyn has worked in a variety of companies such as high tech manufacturing, property management, building materials, and oil service. She has been in the payroll field for 30 years and obtained her CPP in 1990 and has recertified every 5 years. Robyn has been a member of both the national APA and the Dallas Chapter since 1990. Robyn has been a volunteer teacher, Education Director, 2007 Dallas Chapter Payroll Professional of the Year and has been responsible for the Certification Program since 2006. Robyn believes this is an opportunity to give back something for the years of education support she has received from APA. Robyn has 6 grandchildren that she enjoys spending time with ranging from 11 month to 11 years old. Robyn enjoys traveling, bike riding and tennis with husband Don in her spare time. STEVE SMITH, CPP - GOVERNMENT RELATIONS DIRECTOR Steve is an 18 year associate with ADP and has over 25 years payroll and HR experience. Steve obtained his CPP in 2005. Steve has successfully lead many key projects and initiatives with ADP. He currently manages several of ADP s largest Dallas and North Texas clients seeing to their strategic needs. -

LOY LOVELESS, CPP - PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR Currently, Loy is the Payroll Manager for Ryan, Inc. and has been with the company for almost two years. Ryan Inc. provides tax consulting services for North American clients. Previous to that, she has worked in both the healthcare industry and the aviation industry for a total of twenty years experience in payroll. Her education includes a Bachelor s Degree in Business Management from Amberton University and a master s level class in Salary and Wage Administration. She passed my CPP test in 1993 and recertified in 1998, 2003, and 2008. She have been a member of the Dallas Payroll Chapter for twenty years and have volunteered in various areas over the years. She is a current member of the American Payroll Association. ALLEN R. LUNA, FPC - WEBSITE DIRECTOR Allen R. Luna has been employed at Glazer s Wholesale Drug Co. in Dallas,TX as a TimeLink/Payroll Administrator since November 2008. He has also been a member of the Dallas APA since 2008. Allen served in the United States Marine Corps for four years from 2000 2004 and then attended and graduated from Texas State University San Marcos with his Bachelors in December 2006. Allen also has three years of IT/Helpdesk experience from his positions at TeleNetwork and Blockbuster Entertainment.
