One of these awards, the Green & Gold Scholarship, benefits undergraduate students who have demonstrated enthusiasm and determination to obtain a college degree. Les Harper 55, a member of the first Sacramento State class in its present location, and his wife Anita, have been loyal Hornets over the years. Thanks to their ongoing generosity and significant bequest, the Alumni Center was named The Leslie and Anita Harper Alumni Center. Allie Beth Kenner has been a member of the Hornet Club and a season ticket holder for more than 25 years and, although not an alumna, she has been a loyal donor to Sacramento State Athletics since 1988. Her support includes creating two endowed basketball scholarships and a $50,000 gift to the Power of 1,000 Hornets campaign to support a new event center. Hazel Cramer s $1 million estate gift establishes Sacramento State s first endowed chair, which will be in the Department of Public Policy and Administration within the College of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies. During her lifetime, Hazel also established a scholarship; her estate further supports these awards. Alumni 17.92% The W.M.
