The ground terminl is connected to the erth connector (PE) nd the housing. The plnt devices re connected using screw terminls. The mesuring voltge is pulsed to ensure tht the sensor is not heted up. While the inputs re primrily designed for Ni1000 sensors, they cn lso e used for Pt1000. The mesurement is selected using the softwre. The lineristion for Pt1000 ensures tht devitions in the rnge from -50 to +150 C re negligile. Every 150 ms it reds ll inputs, processes the prmeterised modules, updtes the outputs nd hndles the necessry communiction with other sttions or visulistion PCs using the novnet uxiliry module. Any modifictions to the progrmming of the novflex (control loops nd prmeters) re mde using the novnet utomtion network. The novflex hs uilt-in rel time clock (RTC) for time progrmmes. A lithium ttery ensures tht, if there is power filure, the user dt (FBD dt), time progrmmes nd historicl dt (HDB) re retined in the SRAM. This ttery lso powers the rel time clock. The ttery enles the dt to e retined nd the rel time clock to e operted without power supply for t lest 3 yers. The dt cn e permnently sved using user EPROM. Every novflex with the novnet uxiliry module must e given n ddress (0...127). This is set using coding switches. p to 128 novflex users cn e connected to the novnet. For the novflex, these re the EY-OP240F001 control pnel nd the EY-OP250F001 nd F002 touch pnels. The EY-OP 240 control pnel is connected to the sttion vi n RJ-45 socket. It mkes it possile to hndle ll the novflex dt (except the HDB) reding mesured vlues, lrms nd sttuses, chnging setpoints nd issuing positioning commnds. The EY-OP 250 touch pnel is connected to the sttion vi n RJ-11 socket (Z374448001 point-to-point uxiliry module) or the nov- Net. It enles ll dt to e processed. Commissioning When the 24 V~ power supply is eing connected, it is essentil tht the technicl erth is connected with the terminl screw provided. The work my only e crried out when the system is disconnected from the electricl supply. The novflex must e disconnected from the power supply efore it is opened up. Protective ESD mesures must e tken efore ny interventions. Before it is connected to the novnet, every sttion must receive unique ddress. The ddresses re divided into rnges. Only the rnge from 0 to 127 my e used for the novflex. This novflex numer is set using the DIL switch locks of the uxiliry module. The AS ddress cn e set using the 8-digit switch lock. The lst switch is used to set the prity. The prity is set so tht the numer of switches set to ON, including the prity switch, is n even numer. It lights up constntly to indicte the opertionl sttus (power supply OK). The novnet uxiliry module hs yellow LED to indicte telegrm trffic when it is sent on the novnet. If the sttion stops working or n error is detected in the RAM, this is picked up y the wtchdog nd the sttion is restrted with the dt in the PROM. If this hppens, no telegrms re sent out for the time eing, which mens tht the yellow Send LED stops flshing. If this LED does not light up t ll, then n incorrect or defective EPROM is connected, or none t ll. In this cse, the sttion will no longer work. In stndlone mode (without novnet) the Send LED flshes rpidly (roughly 7 times per second), ecuse dummy telegrm is sent for every cycle. During the initil commissioning, or when the sttion is reset mnully, the microprogrm nd the user dt re lso loded gin. As soon s this is completed, the yellow Send LED flshes gin in time with the outgoing telegrms.
