Winter Concert TIME FRAME JANUARY FEBRUARY * Note to teacher: The ¼ notes require a fast bow speed, ½ notes require a slower speed and whole notes require the slowest speed. Mark the student s bow with a dot into three sections, (whiteout works nicely) lower, middle and upper. Mark a dot approx. 2 3 above the finger grip and 2 3 from the tip of the bow. Students should play from dot to dot using the whole middle section of the bow with each stroke when starting their bow experience 1.
