PF83 Wallace Rankine Nesbitt collection. -- [1870?]-[1941?]. -- 30 photographs : b&w ; 33.2 x 22.9 cm or smaller, 2 prints : b&w ; 29.4 x 23.2 cm and 16.6 x 10.3 cm Biographical/Sketch/Administrative History Wallace Rankine Nesbitt was born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 17th, 1903, to Wallace and Mary Nesbitt. He attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1927, the same year he was admitted to Osgoode Hall Law School. Nesbitt was called to the Bar in 1932. Wallace Rankine Nesbitt died on August 18th, 1976. Collection consists of photographs and prints maintained by Wallace Rankine Nesbitt, several of which may have originally belonged to his father, Wallace Nesbitt. The photographs and print depict prominent Canadian, English and American lawyers and judges. Title based on contents of the collection. Page 4 of 15
