Hello wonderful You! This is your year! This is the year to celebrate you! Your Senior Portraits should be a celebration of who you are at this time in your life. They should reflect your individuality and style. My goal is that one day in your future when you look back at your senior portraits they will bring back wonderful memories of who you were and where you were going. I take the time to get to know each of my seniors on a personal level to ensure that I can give you the best experience to make that day in the future happen. Hi. I m Deborah I m the person behind the camera, and I d love to be your photographer. I have a great time photographing seniors. Maybe it s because of your pivotal age you have your whole life in front of you and you have the power to do anything you want in this world. Such a wonderful age. Absolutely anything hear that?! And nothing makes me happier when I show a senior the back of my camera and they say, Wow! Yes! I love it! My greatest goal is that each senior will be able to see themselves as I do, and know that he/she is uniquely beautiful, unrivaled, full of amazing potential and has an amazing gift to offer this world. Oh, about me? I love chocolate, my family my dogs, nature, learning always learning about many different interests. Life is so extraordinary when you keep the wonder alive!

I will help you every step of the way. We will work together to get the images that truly reflect who you are. I have tons of ideas and tips that will help you get the most out of your experience. Once you book, you will be given my Senior Portrait Guide which will help us plan your shoot with your prefered style, location and must-have shots!

FAQ How do I reserve my session date? Send me an email at deborah@zenphotographybydeborah.com and let me know you are ready to book. A signed digital contract and 1/3 non-refundable retainer are required to reserve your date. Balance of payment is due at the time of session. Do I get digital images? Yes you do. I deliver your images via email link to your digital image collection. You can easily share, view and download to your phone or computer. If you would like a thumb drive of your images those are available for purchase. When posting your images to social media I ask for a photo credit mention to Zen Photography by Deborah. It helps me get the word out. When do I get to see my pictures? Your pictures will be done 30 days or less from the date of your session. Who will be at the shoot? If you would like to bring someone along please feel free to do so. Some people are better alone because then they don t feel self conscious and it s better with just you and me. I m very easy going. Some people might like having others there. Do what s best for you. I will meet you at the shoot location that we decide on. If we have another location that requires driving, I will meet you there! Where will we shoot? We will determine the best location(s) suited to your prior to our shoot date if we choose to meet to discuss or coordinate via email. This can range from alleys, field setting, urban setting, beach locations or anything in between. What if the weather is bad? I always keep my eye on the weather prior to the shoot. We won t shoot in the rain. Cloudy days are great when any time of the day works. If it s sunny, I schedule those around early or later in the day to prevent harsh sun and shadows. If a shoot needs to be rescheduled due to weather we will make that call within a couple -continued-
FAQ - CONT. hours prior to the shoot time and reschedule when it is convenient for both of us. When is the best time to get my Senior Portraits done? The summer before your senior year is best and the fall of your senior year is second best. Fall is beautiful but can also be tricky with deadlines, sports, and scheduling constraints. Many summer weekends I photograph weddings so I focus on senior portraits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I plan for the best lighting available which is typically two hours before sunset though it depends on exact location. What types of payment do you take? I will send you an electronic invoice in which you can pay online via credit card. You may also send a check if you prefer that option. How should I prepare for my session? I will send you information once you have booked your Senior Portrait session with me. I provide tips and advice to get the most out of your session. Plus, if you have any questions along the way, I am always here for you. Where do I change my outfits? Many seniors change in their cars or we can find a public restroom if needed. Why should I get my hair and make-up done? I strongly urge you to get your hair and make-up done professionally for great results. Make-up has a tendency to photograph lighter and hair can sometimes go flat. You may want to consider in investing in this service prior to your photography session. Do you photograph guys? Yes I do. I enjoy working with guys, making them feel relaxed and photographing their hobbies and sports. Some of my favorite sessions have been photographing guys. Believe it or not, we have just as much fun.
