Team Form including for Feeder Watchers Instructions for team leaders/individuals: 1. Enter the numbers on each row of birds. 2. Total the number of birds seen and the number of species seen on the appropriate row. 3. Enter the number of unidentified to species birds seen in the list of unidentified groups. 4. Enter the Start and Stop time for your team. 5. Enter the hours and miles walked, driven, or done by other means of transportation. 6. If a feeder watcher, list total time you actually watched the feeders as close as possible. (Note: You can count birds seen at any point during the day. Keep track of the highest number of each species seen at once. For instance, if you see 4 male Cardinals at 8:10, 2 males and 5 females at 8:19, 6 males and 3 females and 9:47, 1 male and 1 female and 3:34, your total would be 6 males and 5 females so 11 Northern Cardinals.) 7. Any species seen within three days before or three days after the count but not on count day are Count Week species and are to be marked as CW. The total of those individuals are not included in the numbers of individuals nor are they to be counted in the number of species. 8. List the names of team members 9. Submit any details or Documentations to your Count Compiler. (Note: (d) on the form indicates brief details needed as to why this is not another species. (D) on the form indicates that full details of the sighting is needed. The form is available for downloading, saving, filling out, and then sending to your count compiler at: https://indianaaudubon.org/documentation-forms/ but if not found at this link, check other links at Indianaaudubon.org in case it has been moved. 10. Enter your information into the online spreadsheet in your team column or if your compiler prefers, you may be asked to send your hard copy form to your compiler.
