Protect the device from humidity. Do not open the device. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Refer opening and servicing to qualified personnel. Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with the specifications on the rating plate. Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way. A damaged mains cable or plug must immediately be replaced by an authorized service center. In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply. Children should be supervised by parents when using the device. Clean the device with a dry cloth only. MUTE Button - Mute the volume. 9. ST. / MONO Button - Select FM radio stereo/mono receiving mode. 10. EQ Button - Select preset EQ (Bass / Pop / Rock / Jazz / Classic / Off ). 11. SLEEP Button - Select the time duration of the sleep timer. 12. BT. Button - Press to select Bluetooth mode. 13. RADIO Button - Press to select FM Radio mode. 14. CH + / - Button - In radio mode: Select preset station channel. 15. TUN + / - Button - In radio mode: Tune the radio frequency up/down. 16. CLOCK Button - Set clock and 12/24 hour format. 17. ALARM / MEM Button - Set alarm time and select alarm source. - In radio mode: Enter saving preset radio station mode. 18. DIMMER Button - Turn LED display bright/dim. 19. Battery Compartment Installation Clock setting / Memory battery back-up A backup battery compartment located at rear of the unit. (1) Loose the battery compartment screw. (2) Open the clock / Memory battery compartment lid. (3) For the first time use: just remove the insulation tag. For battery replacement: install a DC 3V CR2032 type Lithium battery (with the polarity plus side facing up). (4) Close the battery compartment lid. (5) Screw tight the compartment lid. Remote Control The remote control operates on one CR2025 Lithium battery (included). To activate the remote control, remove the insulation tag attached in the battery compartment. Connecting the unit to the AC adaptor power Plug the AC Adaptor s DC plug into the DC Jack on the back of unit. Plug the adaptor into a standard AC mains outlet. 2

Bluetooth Operation Bluetooth pairing/connection 1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. 2. Press the FUNC (function) button (or BT. Button from the remote control) to select Bluetooth mode. The BT mode LED indicator blinks. 3. From the smart phone, turn on its Bluetooth function and it will search for the neighboring Bluetooth device. 4. From the Bluetooth device list of your smart phone, tap on Bluetooth device name UR600SW of this model for the connection. 5. Once the mobile device connected with the unit, the BT mode LED indicator lights steadily. Playback smart phone music 6. Run your smart phone music player and playback music. 7. You may adjust both the volume control of your mobile device and the volume control of this unit to find the most desirable volume setting. 8. You may press: (a) the button to Play / Pause the mobile device music. (b) the TUN +/- button ( or the / button from the remote control) to skip tracks forward / backward. FM Antenna Extend FM antenna wire for the best FM radio reception. Radio Tuner Operation Radio Tuning 1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. 2. Press the FUNC button (or the RADIO button from the remote control) to select FM radio mode. The FM mode LED indicator lights steadily. 3. To manually tune to a desired station, repeatedly press the TUN + / - button. 4. To automatically search for stations with strong signals, press and hold the TUN + / - button until the frequency digits on display begins to scan then release the button. The tuner will stop on the first strong signal it finds. 5. You may press the ST./MONO button from the remote control to select FM radio Stereo or Mono receiving mode, where the stereo indicator St and mono indicator no display respectively. Radio Preset Stations The unit allows you to store up to 20 FM stations for easy recall at any time. Manual preset station channel 1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. 2. Press the FUNC button to select FM radio mode. 3. Tune to the radio station you want to store in memory by using the TUN + / - button. 4. Press the MEM button and the preset channel number blinks on display. 5. To select desired preset channel number, press the TUN + / - button. 6. To confirm preset location, press the MEM button. 7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to store other stations, if apply. Recalling Preset Station In radio mode, press the PRESET button (or the CH +/- button from the remote control) to select the desired preset radio channel. The preset channel number will appear on display. 3

Listening to an External Audio Source 1. Connect an audio cable with 3.5mm stereo plug from an auxiliary audio device to the AUX-IN jack of the unit. 2. Press the Power button to turn on the unit. 3. To select auxiliary audio input, press the FUNC button (or the AUX button from the remote control). The AUX mode LED indicator displays. 4. Turn on the external auxiliary audio device. 5. The volume can now be controlled through the unit. 6. Operate all other functions on the external device as usual. Note: - Press and hold the Power button from the main unit to turn off the unit when you finish listening. Don't forget to switch off the power of the external audio device as well. Preset EQ The unit is designed for you to select the preset EQ. When the unit is powered on (in Bluetooth or Aux-In mode), you can select 5 preset EQ as following steps. To select preset EQ : Each press of the EQ button will scroll through following selection. Press and hold the CLOCK button entering 12/24 hour format setting mode, the LED display blinks. 2. Press the TUN + / - button to select 12 or 24 hour display format. Set Clock 3. Press the CLOCK button again and the clock hour digit(s) blink. 4. Press the TUN + / - button to set hour. 5. Press the CLOCK button and the clock minute digits blink. 6. Press the TUN + / - button to set minute. Exit setting mode 7. To save all settings, press the CLOCK button or wait for few seconds to exit the setting mode. 4

5 Alarm Operation The unit incorporated dual alarm timer, alarm 1 and alarm 2. You may set the two alarm time individually. It wakes you up from Buzzer (Beep) or from FM Radio. When the unit is OFF (Standby mode): Alarm1 time setting 1. Press and hold the ALARM button until the ALM 1 (alarm 1) LED indicator blinks. 2. Press the TUN + / - button to set alarm1 hour. 3. Press the ALARM button again, the alarm1 minute blinks. 4. Press the TUN + / - to set alarm1 minute. Select alarm1 wake up source 5. Press the ALARM button and alarm source indicator BUZZER ( bp ) or RADIO ( frequency digits ) displays. 6. Press the TUN + / - button to select alarm source. Alarm2 time setting 7. Press the ALARM button again and the ALM 2 (alarm2) LED indicator blinks. 8. Repeat same steps 2 to 4 above. Select alarm2 wake up source 9. Repeat same steps 5 to 6 above. Save settings and activate alarm function 10. To save all settings and exit the setting mode, press the ALARM button or wait for few seconds. 11. To activate the daily alarm, press the ALARM button and the corresponding alarm LED indicator (ALM 1 / ALM 2) should appear on the display. Notes: - When "Wake to Radio" is selected, make sure the radio station which you want to wake to is tuned. Wake to Buzzer/Radio - When the alarm time is reached, the alarm sounds. (a) Alarm sound source Radio : activate the radio for 60 minutes. (b) Alarm sound source Buzzer : buzzer sounds for 60 minutes. - You can activate the snooze function manually after the alarm sounds by pressing the SNOOZE button. The SNZ status LED Indicator lights. The alarm sound stops for the snooze time (around 9 to 10 minutes) then comes again. - The snooze operation can be activated within 50 minutes from the set alarm time. - To cancel the snooze before it expires, press the ALARM button. - To stop the alarm immediately after the alarm sounds, you can also press the ALARM button once. It resets itself for the following day. Sleep Timer Function Sleep to timer This feature allows you to fall asleep to the radio for up to 90 Minutes. The unit shuts off automatically when the time expires. 1. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. 2. Tune to the desired radio station in radio mode. 3. To select the sleep timer to turn the unit off after 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 or 90 minutes, press the SLEEP button repeatedly. The SLP status LED Indicator lights. The unit plays for the selected length of time then automatically turns off. 4. To view the remaining sleep time, press the SLEEP button once. 5. To turn the unit off before the sleep timer counts down to zero, press and hold the Power button at any time. Notes: If you are falling asleep to music from an external device connected to the AUX input or from the paired Bluetooth device, the sleep timer will shut off the power to this system but it will not turn off the external device.

Resetting the Unit If the unit experiences a power surge or electric shock, it is possible that the internal micro-controller may lock up and the unit will not respond to any commands from the panel controls. 1. In this event, unplug the AC power plug from the wall outlet. 2. Loose the battery compartment screw and take out the CR2032 battery. 3. Wait for few minutes then install the CR2032 battery back into the compartment. 4. Reconnect the AC power plug into the wall outlet and with the DC plug connected to the DC input jack of the unit. Note: The reset operation clears the system memory and all of your previous settings will be erased.
