RIS3 Observatory - The RIS3 Observatory is one of the pillar of RIS3 governance in Tuscany. Composed by Technological Districts, it acts as a mirror group for the Strategy implementation, monitoring and evaluation. - Activities of the RIS3 Observatory are based on monitoring and evaluation reports on the implementation of the Strategy Strong focus on: - Strategy sound financial management and implementation; - Complementarity and synergies with National Smart Specialisation Strategy and other national R&D support instruments; - Enhancing regional assets in S3 Thematic platform and other EU instruments along interregional cooperation logics.

RIS3 Monitoring and Evaluation: Analisys, studies and activities

TOUR4EU Tuscan Organisation of Universities for Europe Tour4Eu aims to: - encourage synergies between any regional actors and the European research; - provide information to universities on EU funding opportunities; - encourage collaboration between researchers and other possible partners; - facilitate closer relations between the universities, the European institutions and other interlocutors. Non profit Association, based in Brussels, created by Tuscany Region,the University of Florence, the University of Pisa, the University of Siena, the University for Foreigners of Siena, the IMT High Studies of Lucca, the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa, to promote the Regional research initiatives in Europe.

Industry 4.0 Regional Platform Regional coordination of public system of competences on Industry 4.0 with strong focus on: - research, innovation and technological transfer; - higher education; - employment. Universities and research centers are part of the platform, sharing information and initiatives - The Platform enhance coordination and stakeholder engangement according to shared perspective; - More effective and integrated policies are easier to be designed.
