I am finished! BE A BIG DREAMER Being a big dreamer doesn t mean that you walk around with your head in the clouds. It means that you re seeking a purpose for your life it means that you re becoming fulfilled in the process. It means soaring to the top with distinction 10
BE A BIG DREAMER People that get into the habit of dreaming big will accomplish those goals because they have the right mindset. You need to look at life with the perspective that you can achieve anything that s possible. If you can accomplish big dreams, why wouldn t you go after them? Why would you want to settle for small dreams? 7 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BE A BIG DREAMER 11
1. FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS CONNECTS YOU TO YOUR INNER SELF If you want to be happy right down to the core of your being, you need to be a big dreamer. Big dreams can fulfill you right down to the soul because you ve sought out your true purpose in life. It s likely the biggest reason why you wouldn t want to settle on small dreams. 2. BECAUSE YOU HAVE A CHOICE You should be a big dreamer because you do have a choice in the matter. Sure you might have a goal or dream that is very difficult to achieve. You might come face to face with failure, and that can be rather frightening. Many people are led down the path where they decide to never attempt their ultimate big dreams. You don t have to be one of these people. You can choose to follow your biggest dreams. 12
3. BE FOLLOWING YOUR TRUE CALLING There are not many feelings that could be considered better than knowing that you ve found the meaning in your life. Perhaps you don t know what your true calling in life is yet, and you won t get to that point without dreaming big first. Some people might say that their true calling fell right into their lap, but this isn t always the case. You need to do some deep thinking and take action in order to get there. 4. YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE Your dreams don t need to remain dreams forever; they have a real possibility of coming true. If you re a big dreamer, you ll achieve big dreams. It s a strong belief in yourself combined with those big dreams that ll make you a personal success. Don t settle on small dreams when you can be achieving bigger things. 13
5. YOU LL BE OPEN TO POSSIBILITIES When you dream big things, you open many doors. You ll encounter a good amount of excitement as you go about life because you ll be in adventurous and unpredictable situations. This is because big dreams can push your limits and keep your life fresh. Who wouldn t want a life filled with excitement? 6. YOU LL ACHIEVE MORE When you dream big, you ll achieve great things. You may even end up achieving more than you ever thought you could. For example, you might be at a crossroads where you re considering whether or not to get a job in a certain field or start a business in that same field. The job is a safe bet with a likely limited salary. The business is the big dream that can provide fulfillment and not just in the salary potential. You ll be personally fulfilled and you ll achieve more for your hard work. 14
7. IT S THE RIGHT THING TO DO FOR THE WORLD Big dreams are the reasons why the world changes for the better. It s the reason why there have been so many great inventions, and cures for diseases, etc. Big dreams give you the opportunity to truly leave your mark on the world. THINKING BIG AND GOING BEYOND 15
SUCCESS IS AN INSIDE JOB It s a state of mind. It begins with you and is soon reflected in the world around you. By thinking big, you become a bigger person. By dreaming big dreams, you become a leader. By making plans to accomplish your goals, you take control of your life. by practicing the ideas taught in Thinking Big, you can and will become unstoppable. THINKING BIG Everything that exists in the world today was once an idea in someone s mind. If it can t be conceived, it can t be achieved. Whatever you dream or believe you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it, 16
THINKING BIG The keys to achievement are conscious effort, careful planning, and good, old-fashioned hard work. But on the road of success, there is one habit that will accelerate you beyond all others i.e. THINKING BIG. THINKING BIG Is the key to Personal Power and Maximum Performance, It will take you beyond the limits of everyday thought. You will tap into the vast resources of your mind and unlock unlimited potential. You will become so confident, determined, and persistent, that you can achieve any goal Nothing or no one will be able to slow you down or alter your course 17
WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN TO THINK BIG? You have something valuable in mind, e.g. a service to offer, an idea to develop, You feel you owe it to yourself and to others to increase its scope. You do not settle for anything less than the full potential of what you can do with it. THINKING BIG NEEDS: 1. Vision To think big, you need to see big. 2. Courage Nothing ventured, nothing gained. 3. Thick skin If what you have in mind is at all worth doing, then others will express doubts about it along the way. 18
THINKING BIG NEEDS When you have a strong enough vision, your courage will take care of itself. When you can see, hear, and feel your vision, you will pursue it, however crazy it might seem to others (thick skin). THE POWER OF THINKING BIG All of our world s greatest achievements were once just thoughts in the minds of people who dared to dream them Be Careful What You Think. It Just Might Come True 19
THE POWER OF THINKING BIG All visionaries dared to conceive to break through the limited thinking of those around them. The most dynamic aspect of imagination is the act of forming mental images of what does not yet exist in our world. Human beings have progressed and developed in direct relationship to their collective imagination. IMAGINATION IS.. one of the world s greatest forces more important than knowledge. creating a new idea or combination of ideas stimulated by and based on previous experiences. forming mental images. suspending your disbelief allowing your mind to go beyond 20
CREATIVE IMAGINATION Our images contain creative power. Our thoughts are like magnets drawing to us what we think about with passion or emotion. It is: a step further than just forming mental images. formed for the first time in our minds. spurs actions causes things to come into existence. Putting the Incredible Power of Your Mind to Purposeful and Focused Use You have the power to draw to yourself anything you want or need in life, you do this by learning to focus your mind and coordinate your thoughts and actions. 21
The Law of Attraction. Come to grips with your self and your creative mind Use the Law of Attraction that says, Whatever you focus on becomes your reality. Focus on positive thoughts such as I want that I want that, Remove negative thoughts such as I hope that never happens I don t want that The Law of Attraction. Our mind is a combination of knowing what to do, being disciplined enough to do it, and being aware enough to begin noticing the signs of change and practice gratitude for these. It means acting as if you already have what you have decided to create in your life. 22
The Law of Attraction. Take time to really go inside and figure out what we want. Do not discount our desires by telling ourselves that what we want is not noble enough, or that we should want something bigger, or perhaps that what we want is asking too much. Life is abundance itself and we are meant to live in that abundance. All we have to do is get organized and decide what we want first, second, etc. SIX TIPS TO HELP YOU THINK BIGGER 23
1: REMEMBER EVERYTHING STARTS SMALL Everything starts out small. It doesn t matter where you are at present because from small beginnings come great things. 1: REMEMBER EVERYTHING STARTS SMALL Remember: Rome wasn t built in a day; it started as a few hillside hamlets Microsoft began as a backroom business. Richard Branson started his empire using a public phone box as his office. 24
2: THINK BIG BY ENLISTING OTHERS Big thinkers get other people to dream their dreams know their personal limitations. gather people who can do what they can t to ensure the dream grow. enlist people who are better than them at certain aspects of what they are developing. see themselves as a small part of a greater whole. 2: THINK BIG BY ENLISTING OTHERS Remember: Not every home computer was sold over the counter by Bill Gates. Henry Ford certainly didn t make and sell all his own cars personally. J.K. Rowling didn t publicize, print, and bind the 400 million plus Harry Potter books sold. 25
3: THINK BIG BY FOCUSING ON FUTURE REGRETS When you have big plans, close your eyes and imagine strongly not having even tried; never even having attempted properly, and looking back in 10 years time and wondering: What if I did You will always be wondering how far you could have gone with the plans. 3: THINK BIG BY FOCUSING ON FUTURE REGRETS A great deal of talent is lost to the world for want of a little courage. Every day sends to their graves obscure men whose timidity prevented them from making a first effort. Sydney Smith We regret not the things we did do, but the things we didn t. a cliché 26
4: FEEL IT YOUR HUMAN DUTY TO THINK BIG When something is potentially a real service to mankind, then it is a human duty to think big. e.g. think mass immunization, clean drinking water, and decent education. Even if what you have to offer isn t Nobel Peace Prize material, it still pays to think big. 5: NOW IS BIG-THINKING TIME Now it s natural to think globally The internet is made to facilitate big thinking. It means a global market or audience has never been easier. The effects can be magnified and reproduced worldwide. The big question is: Why on earth not to think big? 27
6: CREATE BIG THOUGHTS Clearly conceive great things for your enterprise Envisage in great detail exactly: what your goal is. how your ideas will look, sound, and feel once they are realized. how will lives be changed? what will you be doing day-to-day? how will it all hang together? who will be working on it? what exactly will they be doing? 6: CREATE BIG THOUGHTS Plan out exactly how you want it to look in one year, five years, and beyond. Link fantasy to practical goal planning, Do not under-estimate how far you can take your business. 28
