Photonics Industries DC Series of air-cooled, diode pumped, harmonic solid-state Q-switched lasers offers a compact, hands-free system with the long-term reliability that the manufacturing industry demands. Utilizing our patented harmonic generation technologies, the DC Series has been designed to provide a low power, high quality laser, with the diversity to meet the most demanding requirements. The DC Series of lasers is available with a choice of INFRARED (153/164 nm), GREEN (527/532 nm), UV (351/355 nm), and DEEP UV (263/266 nm) wavelengths. Each wavelength is available in Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, and Nd:YVO 4 platforms. This variety allows our customers to have the ability to select a laser that best fits their application. Based on the inherent properties of the laser crystals, the DC Series provides a large range of pulse energies, pulse repetition rates, and pulse widths. System Reliability Photonics Industries is committed to providing a highly reliable laser to our customers. The laser resonator, which is assembled in a clean room environment, is hermetically sealed in order to prevent dust and condensation from damaging the laser crystals and optics. The patented intra-cavity harmonic generation results in a large beam diameter on the harmonic crystal, which significantly increases the crystal lifetime, compared to external harmonic generation. This technique also minimizes the amount of optical components needed to generate the harmonic wavelength. By utilizing our end pump design, along with the patented intra-cavity harmonic generation technologies, our DC Series delivers superior TEM beam mode quality with M 2 < 1.2. Output quality of this magnitude improves process quality, control, and product yields.
