ACTIVITY TIME: Q:1 Make a wall hanging using any 4 geometrical shapes Q:2 Make a necklace using cardboard and string to show skip counting of 5 s ACTIVITY 2 : EXPANDING THE FAMILY OF MONSTERS Every living creature grows. You have grown in height as compared to what you were in Class I. Here is a family of friendly monsters growing as fast as little children! Let s check their heights in centimetres. Papa Monster: 175 cm Mama Monster: 162 cm Baby Monster: 102 cm Materials required: Coloured A-4 sheets, fevicol, sketch pens, plain white sheets. Method: Cut out some faces and feet of the monsters (as shown in the picture). Stick them to 3 different A-4 coloured sheets to represent the Papa monster, Mama monster and the baby monster. Now stick a plain white sheet in the middle part (between the face and the feet of the monster) to make it s body. Do the following activity on it. On each of these sheets note down the height of one the Monsters and then expand it in the following way: e.g 1. Mama Monster s height: 162 cm 2.
