April 18, 2001 Le Mars, Iowa The Plymouth County Board of Supervisors met in adjourned session on April 18, 2001 with all members present. All votes following are aye unless otherwise indicated. Minutes of the April 11 th and April 17 th meeting were read and approved. Mary Trometer and Geraldine Baldwin were present to complain about a hog operation in Liberty Township. They were directed to return June 1 st and inform the board how conditions are then. Motion by Vander Hamm, seconded by Kestner, to accept the low bid of Great Plains International for one single axle truck for $38,700.00 and one tandem axle truck for $51,500.00. Motion carried. Motion by Vander Hamm, seconded by Kestner, to approve an application for construction on county road right of way for Cherokee Rural Water in Sections 8, 9, l0, and 15 of Lincoln Township. Motion carried. Motion by Sitzmann, seconded by Spies, to approve an application for construction on county road right of way for Southern Sioux County Rural Water in Sections: 32, 29, 20, 17, 8, 7, and 5 of Fredonia Township; Section 1 of Elgin Township; Sections 3 and 4 of Liberty Township; Sections 9, 8, l7, and 18 of Grant Township; Sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 6, and 5 of Preston Township; Sections 13, 14, 15, 10, and 3 of Portland Township; and Sections 10 and 15 of Westfield Township.
