Note from the Editors Welcome to the first issue of Games 4 Dayz. In this issue, we will tell you about the games that you might want to play. Top 5 Best Games in 2017 5. Resident in Evil Biohazard Resident in Evil 7 is a survival horror game where you play as the main character Ethan Winters. Ethan is trying to find his wife Mia which leads him to the house of the Bakers. You have to fight the bakers and a humanoid Bacteria called Molded to complete the game. 4. Horizon Zero Dawn Horizon Zero Dawn is an action role playing game where you play as a person named Aloy, a hunter and archer. She ventures through an post-apocalyptic land ruled by robotic creatures known simply as machines. 3.Prey In Prey you play as Morgan Yu on a spaceship with several hostile aliens known as Typhon. The point of the game is to survive on the spaceship and find tools and materials to craft them to stay alive and defeat the aliens. Prey is in a timeline where John F Kennedy does not get assassinated. 2.Mass effect Andromeda Mass effect Andromeda is an action role playing game in which the player takes control of either Scott or Sara Ryder from a third person perspective. Both Ryders' appearances and first names can be determined by the player.the appearance of their father, Alec, is automatically adjusted based on the appearance of the Ryder twins. 1.Injustice 2 Injustice 2 is a game that is based on DC comics. It is a game where you play as a character in it s roster and there are many game modes such as versus, multiverse and story mode which is very eye catching. This game is great to play.
Overwatch was one of the most anticipated games of 2016 and was fully released to the public on May 24th 2016; it was the first original game Blizzard has made in 17 years. Overwatch is a first person shooter that is very enjoyable because of the variety of characters you get to select. Unlike other FPS s (First Person Shooter), they include backstories for the characters. In addition, they have alternative skins for them so you can have your character in different styles instead of having one basic look. All the characters in Overwatch have different fighting styles/moves, from characters with shields and a hammers like Reinhardt (Ryan-Heart) to a character called Tracer, who can teleport and shoot fast. There are all sorts of characters in the game from ninjas to robots. This year the game had it s one year anniversary. On the anniversary, they had an in-game event which included: three new arena maps (Castillo, Black Forest, and Necropolis) in the arcade gamemode, many new legendary skins, over one hundred new items, and to top it all off, phenomenal new dance moves also known as emotes. These emotes add a whole new aspect of fun to the game by showing what the heroes personalities are like. Overwatch, one year after it s release, has made such a big impact to gamers across the world because it shows you that not all FPS s have to be bloody and make people squeal. The game got so popular that this year, there are more than 30 MILLION PLAYERS!
Injustice 2 is an amazing continuation of the main version of the game called Injustice that develops the story of the most famous superheroes trying to bring back order to The Society by fighting the characters that want to restore Superman s Regime. Being released just about a month ago, this game brings new elements when compared to the first game such as introducing a large selection of superheroes and supervillains of the DC universe, creating in the same time the possibility for the gamers to customize their characters with gear, skins and the way they fight. Moreover, the players can earn gear to personalize and level-up their characters through the revolutionary development of a Gear System. The game received positive reviews regarding the story and its presentation but mostly for the new gameplay mechanics. It s only been a month since Injustice 2 s release and, already, players across the world say this game could be revolutionary. As I have said this game is amazing because it's made by the best in Netherrealm studios. Netherrealm studios are the people responsible for the bestselling Mortal kombat franchise. Their games have an unrivaled stories, amazing content, and, in the Injustice series, brings the DC universe to life. Letting you play as characters such as The Flash, Green Lantern, Batman, and even Black Canary! This game is amazing but it comes at a price, for the ultimate edition it will cost you $99, for the deluxe edition it will cost you $79 and for the normal one, it will cost you $59. Overall this game is a big success and players don't regret buying it at all.
Undertale s a relatively old indie title released September 15, 2015 by game developer Toby Fox. It s about a young child who falls down a hole lands in a place full of monsters and they have to get back home. On the front cover it looks like a typical RPG but unlike most RPG s Undertale gives you the option to spare monsters you encounter and even encourages you to do so. There are also multiple different endings depending on what you do. Another important difference is that the player isn t above consequences, which is to say that the game actually blames YOU, the player, for murdering any monster, you can t even escape by resetting, someone will always remember, this is, again, very different from normal RPG s. Undertale is a game that taps into human psychology and makes you feel guilty for every murder you commit, even the acronyms EXP and LV, which usually stands for experience and levels,stand for execution points and levels of violence. If you wish, you can even commit genocide to the monsters and at the end instead of rewarding you, the game punishes you for the crimes you ve committed by putting you in the hardest boss fight in Undertale, and trust me, if you're doing genocide, you're going to have a bad time. Undertale is one of the most popular games of all time and still, 2 years after it s release, it still has a very large fanbase and that s not really surprising. With its moving story, incredible music and innovative style, there s no wonder it got the game of the year award. People are often making games and animations about undertale and it doesn t look like it s going to stop any time soon. Undertale is a very solid game and is one I actually play myself, it does have it s faults (like omega flowey) but has many strengths to overcome them and I would definitely recommend it for any gamer.
There were obviously different stages of the game like beta, pre-alpha, and alpha and the game now. The game has gained more popularity over the years by starting out with pixels to a full fledged 3D block game where you fight, build, jump in obbys, and more. Roblox is a website that you go on to play games and play with your friends. Plus, it s FREE to play! Roblox Studio is an additional thing that the website gives you and it is used for making your own games. You can script/code in it and also build amazing islands and anything you want! There are also plugins, (which are basically things that can add new features that you can use) different parts you can use, (cylinders, Blocks, Spheres, and Wedges) and different textures. The only limitation to what you can make is your imagination. Roblox is a game where you can imagine anything and make it into a game and play other people s creations! This game was created in 2006 and it was originally created to be a real life physics game where college students could test how much damage a car would do to another car if they crashed at a certain speed. Then people made characters and added joints. That made the Roblox groupthink to make a new version of the game entirely making the Roblox game that we all know today! Roblox even has special events that people can participate in to get free things for your avatar and where you can get badges and have fun with a new game mode or new type of play style that you have to get used to. The events allow you to play and get to win something cool and let you play new games that you have never heard of. Roblox is a fantastic game.
League of Legends (LoL) is an old MOBA title made in 2009 by developers in Riot Games. You play as one of the optional champions and you and your team have to destroy the turrets and core of the enemy base before they destroy yours. It s a simple concept but it s surprisingly fun and it s easy get your head around, plus, with an array of over 100 playable champions, you're definitely going to have one that fits you. And, despite being 8 years old, it still remains as one of the most popular games ever. LoL even has it s own gaming tournament! Like all games, LoL does have its faults, the game sometimes lags, and is sometimes unbalanced, but there is a reason it s the most popular game in South Korea. With good graphics, large variety and easy learning curve, you have to give the devs at Riot Games some credit. In fact, LoL did so well that a company called Moonton released a mobile spinoff called mobile legends. Plus, they re often updating the game so it often has new characters, skins and items. Overall, LoL is an old, yet popular game, and despite its age, it still has over 100 million players worldwide and is still growing. It s a great game and with over 100 different champions and dozens of strategies and builds, no match will be the same. It s a game you ll spend hours on (by the way, LoL has an age restriction of 12 and up, should ve mentioned that).
