Robert Weidner, III PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER METALS SERVICE CENTER INSTITUTE Bob Weidner was named president of the Metals Service Center Institute (previously the Steel Service Center Institute) and to its board of directors in November 2001, and chief executive officer in November 2002. He is a member of the Executive, Investment, and Budget & Audit Committees. He is responsible for all programs, services and operations Weidner was previously vice president, human resources, and earlier vice president, communications and investor relations, and a member of the Corporate Executive Council of Alliant Foodservice, Inc., a $6.5 billion foodservice distribution company. He also served as general manager, communications and stakeholder relations, at Inland Steel Industries, capping a 17- year career at that steel manufacturing and industrial metals distribution company. Weidner held a variety of finance, sales, marketing, communications and investor relations positions there. Weidner received his MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1981. He is a member of The Olin Business School s National Advisory Council at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is also a member of the National Association of Wholesaler- Distributors (NAW) Association Executives Council and served as the Council s chairman in 2009. From 2008 2010, he was a director on NAW s board. He is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and serves as vice-chairman of its Key Industry Advisory Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce s Association Committee of 100, the American Council for Capital Formation Association Council, the Association Forum, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Executives Club of Chicago. In addition, Weidner is a former director of the board of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and served as the 2011 chairman of the NAM Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA). In addition, Weidner was awarded CMA s 2014 Leadership Award for extraordinary leadership in advocating on behalf of U.S. manufacturing. He was a director of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) Chicago chapter and an active member of NIRI s senior investor relations roundtable. He was also a member of The Conference Board s Global Council of Investor Relations Executives. In addition to his advanced degree, Weidner holds a B.A. degree in political science from Northwestern University; he successfully completed the Professional Accounting Program at Northwestern University s Kellogg Graduate School of Management; and he is a Certified Association Executive. Weidner is a past director of the Culver Legion Board. He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Lake Barrington, IL, and have three children, Lauren, Robert and Matthew.

By drawing upon her longevity in this area of prac ce, Kathy is able to effectually survey and analyze her client s business and quickly assess which trade remedy and strategy should be employed. Kathy and her team consistently deliver a deep bench of proven results. Kathy, in par cular, has extraordinary skill in the injury phase of trade remedy ac ons before the U.S. Interna onal Trade Commission. She has par cipated in many oral arguments before the U.S. Court of Interna onal Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Kathy has also been involved in implemen ng trade legisla on and regula ons, as well as in rules and dispute se lement issues before the World Trade Organiza on (WTO). When U.S. producers and exporters are charged with dumping in other countries, Kathy has also worked to assist them in naviga ng those countries trade laws. Kathy has represented a wide range of industries including basic metals (steel, aluminum, copper), wire and fabricated steel products, agricultural products, chemical goods and consumer goods.. Notably, Kathy par cipated in the U.S. and China steel dialogue in Beijing on Chinese tax and trade policies affec ng U.S. steel wire producers. She has argued hundreds of cases before agencies and courts of jurisdic- on in the interna onal trade area, and authored an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of the Commi ee to Support U.S. Trade Laws in a successful appeal of a Commerce an dumping determina on.

Lauren Wilk leads The Aluminum Association s policy department, advancing policy outcomes for the domestic aluminum industry and advocating for the industry s interests on international trade. The association s 114 members make 70 percent of the aluminum and aluminum products shipped in North America. Members of the association operate more than 200 facilities worldwide. Before joining The Aluminum Association, Lauren was Director of Trade Policy at the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington, D.C. She previously served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for former U.S. Representative Donald Manzullo. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, she worked for the Aerospace Industries Association and the American Farm Bureau Federation. Lauren Wilk Vice President, Policy and International Trade The Aluminum Association A Kansas native, she received a B.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas and a M.A. in National Security Studies from the Naval War College. Lauren serves on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Washington and is an active Pi Beta Phi alumnae. She lives with her husband and young son in Takoma Park, Maryland.
