retired as both the Senior Assistant Director of the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Head of the Housing Managers Grade in 1988. He then became the Executive Director of the Discovery Bay Services Management Limited in the following year. He was further appointed as Executive Director of Wells Property Management Limited and Wells Services Management Limited two years later. Since August 2005, he has been appointed Consultant of Hong Kong Resort Co. Ltd. He was also appointed part-time lecturer of the University of Hong Kong for twenty years to teach for postgraduate and diploma programmes in housing management. Johnnie C. K. CHAN is Chief Estate Manager of Hutchison Whampoa Property Group, with more than 30 years of practical experience in the property profession. He was elected President of the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies between 1998 and 2000. He is currently Chairman of Education & Training Committee of the Association, and a member of the Professional Housing Managers Registration Board. Walter K. L. CHAN is Senior Partner of Rowland Chow, Chan & Co., solicitors, He is a practising lawyer, specializing in banking law and practice, litigation and conveyancing. He was a member of the Housing Authority between 1996 and 2006, and served as Chairman of the Supervisory Group on Divestment (Linkreit) and Commercial Properties Committee and Home Ownership Committee. He was also involved in the review exercise of public rent policy. Rebecca L. H. CHIU is Associate Professor at the Centre of Urban Planning and Environmental Management, the University of Hong Kong, specializing in housing studies. She has developed and has been in charge of professional management courses offered by the University of Hong Kong since 1987, and has also been involved in the formulation of the professional qualifying curricula of the housing institutes and their course validation exercises. x chairman and convenor of regional and local housing research associations, and has published extensively on housing issues. She also serves on government boards and committees related to housing, land, planning, and environmental issues. FAN Cheuk Hung is Managing Director of Synergis Management Services Limited. He has been working in the property and facility management industry for over 20 years, pioneered in Total Quality Management (TQM), corporate rebranding and the public listing of property and facility management companies. Before joining Synergis, he had extensive working experience with the Housing Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government and various large scale property developers in Hong Kong. Joseph S. L. IP is a Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor as well as a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, Facilities Management Division. Dr. Ip was an award winning teacher. He taught building and housing maintenance management subjects in the Faculty of Architecture & School of Professional and Continuing Education, the University of Hong Kong. He was Head of the Department of Construction at Vocational Training Council and President & CEO at Integral Services, which he is a property consultant. He is currently appointed as Safety/Warehouse Coordinator at Lem Construction, Inc., North California s premier minority general contractor. Mingo S. M. KWAN is Asset Management Director of Hysan Development Co. Ltd. He was also the Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Housing (Asian Pacific Branch) in 1996/97. KWONG Tsz Man is Assistant Professor and Senior Programme Director of the School of Professional and Continuing Education, the University of Hong Kong. He is in charge of all housing management programmes for the School. His training is in urban sociology and he teaches related subjects for the housing management programmes of the University. His research interest is in urban and housing development in Hong Kong and in China. LAU Kai Hung is Deputy Director (Estate Management) of the Hong Kong Housing Authority. He is Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing and Chartered Institute of Hong Kong (Asian Pacific Branch). He is also a Registered Professional Housing Manager of Hong Kong. Jimmy Y. C. MAK is Director & General Manager (Operations) of New Charm Management Ltd. He was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Hong Kong Branch from 1999 to 2001. He was External Examiner of the Master s Degree in Housing Management of the University of Hong Kong from 2002/03 to 2004/05. WONG Kit Loong is Property Management Director of Hong Kong Housing Society. He was the Chairman of Chartered Institute of Housing (Asian Pacific Branch) in 2003 and 2004.

Ricky Y. K. YUEN is General Manager (Property Management) of Hong Kong Housing Society.
