Michel Di Capua Head of Analysis, Americas Region, Bloomberg New Energy Finance Michel Di Capua is Head of Analysis, Americas Region, for Bloomberg New Energy Finance, based in New York City. In his current capacity he oversees an analyst team focused on understanding the transformation in the energy industry in North and Latin America. This includes the production of in-depth reports and forecasting models. Michel s previous professional experience includes solar energy project development with Tata Power in India and strategy consulting for the telecom industry. Michel has an undergraduate degree in Physics from Harvard, a Masters in Literature from Columbia, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Nick Culver Americas Solar and US REC Markets Analyst, Bloomberg New Energy Finance Nicholas Culver is Lead Solar Analyst, Americas, at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, where he primarily covers the downstream United States PV market. Previously, he published price forecasts, market analyses and commentary for clients of the US REC Market service. His prior experience includes solar PV asset management for Distributed Sun and regulatory analysis for the New York Power Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Connecticut College and a Masters in Energy Policy and Finance from Columbia University.
Thomas Rowlands-Rees Head of Energy Smart Technology Analysis, Bloomberg New Energy Finance Tom manages Bloomberg New Energy Finance s Energy Smart Technologies (EST) team. The EST team provides analysis of developments in smart grid, energy storage, energy efficiency and electric vehicles and an integrated view on how these relate to the broader evolution of the energy industry. Within the team he is responsible for coverage on energy efficiency.

He has over 25 years experience in Federal and state policy, renewable energy market design and business development. Prior to joining ACORE, he directed global and US policy, market development and communications for BP Solar. He also served in several US government positions, including the White House, US Senate, US EPA and OSHA. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the Solar Alliance, Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Associations (TREIA). He received his B.S. from Boston College and law degree from the Washington College of Law at American University.
