José Ignacio Escobar General Manager, Mainstream Renewable Power Chile José Ignacio Escobar is the General Manager of Mainstream Renewable Power and executive vice president of Renewable Energy Chilean Association (ACERA). José Ignacio Escobar is an Electric Industrial Engineer of the Universidad Católica de Chile. His professional career includes the development of the local branch of Mainstream Renewable Power, Irish company specialized in generation developing wind projects in Chile, Europe, Canada, USA and South Africa. His trajectory includes the creation of several companies in the electric and electronic sector, such as Dreamline and Geotek. As Executive Vicepresident of ACERA, he s in charge of promoting the development of renewable energy in Chile, and also promoting regulation mechanisms at the industry in order to facilitate investments in terms of clean energy.
