Lovell Guy Roe Vice President Branch Manager Guy has more than 25 years of experience as an investment professional and focuses on wealth management strategies for clients by concentrating on portfolio management. His knowledge and attention to equity research, portfolio hedging strategies, asset allocation and estate planning helps our clients achieve their financial objectives. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Guy, was an Eagle Scout and worked many summers at the Scout Camp. He graduated from DePauw University with a BA, majoring in economics. Guy closely follows economic forecast and business trends on behalf of our clients. Guy and his wife Katie were married at the Boulder Junction Community Church and soon after settled in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Katie and I are blessed to be able to live, work and play in the beautiful Northwoods. Guy and Katie have 2 grown children. Guy is active in the community. He served as treasurer for the Lakeland Hawks Ice Association during the fundraising and ultimate construction of the Lakeland Ice Arena. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors of Camp Manito-wish YMCA and is Chair of the Board for WXPR public radio. During the summer you can find him with clients on the golf course and in the winter he keeps active officiating high school volleyball and hockey. Mary Lynne Hull Vice President Financial Advisor With 24 years in the financial services industry Mary Lynne is focused on helping our client s attain the retirement lifestyle they aspire. She focuses on insuring that our client retirement income needs are being met. Mary Lynne has the uncanny ability to put people at ease as they share their financial goals and aspirations. Over the years Mary Lynne has helped countless individuals and families create and protect their retirement nest eggs. I have received numerous awards in my career, but none greater than the satisfaction of becoming a trusted advisor and good friend to many of our clients. Ed Nakhla Financial Advisor Ed brings a wealth of business and investment experience to our clients with a focus on retirement, wealth management, and risk and cost containment. A part of Central Wisconsin s business community since 1989 Ed has been an entrepreneur and an advisor to small businesses for over two decades. Ed, along with his brother Alfred, started Office Solutions in 1994 and received the Inc 500 magazine recognition for being one of the fastest growing private companies in the USA in 1999. The brothers sold their business in 2002 and Ed turned his attention to helping clients as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Ed s background enables him to develop customized investment strategies and advise business owners and senior level executives with a unique perspective in wealth management. Ed has an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee and a BS in Business Administration from Montclair University in Montclair NJ. Ed has a gift for languages and is able to communicate in Portuguese, Arabic and Spanish. Along with many outdoor activities, Ed enjoys cooking and entertaining with his wife Brenda. Ed and Brenda have 3 daughters. He remains active in the community through volunteer work with Junior Achievement and their Church. Matthew Kluetz Financial Advisor Matt s background in Aerospace Engineering brings a unique set of analytical skills to our clients. Matt has developed the methodology used by the Lakeland Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to screen and create a set of approved money managers. This process has created the signature portfolios predominantly used by Lakeland Group clients. Matt graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and started his career at Cessna Aircraft Company. Matt looked to return to his roots in Eagle River, leaving Cessna after 10 years to join Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as a financial advisor. I enjoy traveling as life permits and consider it a bonus if a trip can be culturally enriching. Matt is involved in the Lions Club serving as treasurer. as the board chair at the YMCA of the Northwoods/Vilas Branch. Matt enjoys the outdoors year-round, and is skilled in the kitchen working on new recipes with his wife Laura and their two daughters. Wendy Hull Financial Advisor Wendy is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. She listens carefully to their goals, values, dreams and concerns and then works with the team to find suitable answers to help achieve those goals. Wendy is skillful in helping to create a guaranteed retirement income stream for our clients. Wendy is very active in the community currently as President Elect for the Lakeland Kiwanis Club with whom she has been an active member since 2003. Wendy also volunteers on the Minocqua Chamber of Commerce Events Committee. I take great pride in helping make the Lakeland community better through the organizations I volunteer with. Wendy has two grown children, is an avid Packers fan and enjoys spending nice summer days on her Harley. Andrew Roe Financial Advisor Andy has helped small and medium sized businesses design and implement retirement plans. Andy works with each individual client to help them attain the retirement lifestyle they aspire, while guiding corporations in choosing the most suitable retirement plans. Andy utilizes the latest resources in helping our clients formalize their retirement plans. Andy graduated from Colorado College with a BA in Economics. He has spent time in outdoor leadership positions. Andy is passionate about helping develop young leaders through wilderness experiences. Andy is active in his community as a member of the Optimist Club. Andy and his wife Mary enjoy spending their free time canoeing and kayaking during Wisconsin summers. The couple also enjoys skiing during the winter and spending time with their families and friends whenever possible. Laura Borski Senior Registered Client Service Associate To a large extent Laura is the unifying voice our clients hear from the Lakeland Group. Its common to see Laura interacting with our clients to make sure every aspect of their relationship with our team runs as smoothly as possible. Laura also has multifaceted duties which comprise coordinating the groups overall day-to-day operations. A native of the Twin Cities area, Laura currently lives in Rhinelander with her husband Scott. They have four children. My greatest professional reward has been the relationships built with our clients. They are why I love what I do. Laura has been very active in the youth programs of her church for the past 15 years. The Borski family loves traveling and enjoys the outdoors year-round. Catherine Negri Senior Client Service Associate Cathy helps provide outstanding service to our clients. Cathy knows many of our clients on a first name basis. With her help the Lakeland Group is able to offer professional service with that touch of Midwest warmth. Cathy and her husband Scott have lived and raised their family in Minocqua for the past 25 years. They have three sons. She and Scott have owned Scott s Northwood Diesel, Inc., a truck equipment dealership since 1994. I enjoy golfing with my husband as much as possible, weather permitting.
