It is your responsibility to hold onto and not lose this packet during the tournament. If you lose this packet, be prepared to be docked points!

MISSION 1: OVERWHELMING FORCE *** READ THE ENTIRE SCENARIO BEFORE SETTING UP *** DEPLOYMENT MAP MISSION The Attacker breaching the hull and attempting create a beach Head by wiping out as much resistance as possible. PRIMARY OBJECTIVES 1. Purge the Alien: Each player receives 1 Victory Point for each enemy unit that has been completely destroyed (including Independent Characters and Dedicated Transports). Units that are falling back or not on the board at the end of the game, count as destroyed for the purposes of this objective. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game achieves this objective. Legendary Fighter and The Hunt: Victory Points gained through these Warlord Traits are added to this objective s total before determining the winner. Win Draw Loss 1 6 points 0 points PRE-DEPLOYMENT ADDENDUM 1. Players roll to randomly determine Attacker and Defender. 2. The battlefield is divided into four equal table quarters. Both players divide their lists into two equal halves. The first half (rounding up) will begin on the battlefield, the second half begins in Reserves. The Defender then chooses a Deployment Zone, and deploys their force anywhere in this area, but not within 6" of the center of the board. The Attacker then deploys in the opposite Deployment Zone. 3. Roll for Seize the Initiative (pg. 122). MISSION SPECIAL RULES 1. Scoring Units: Units drawn from either the Troops or Elites allowance count as scoring units where this is called for by the mission. 2. Variable Game Length: per a Standard Mission (see page 122 of the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook). 3. Night fight is in effect for Turn 1 and 2 ONLY. 4. Zone Mortalis Special Rules and Terrain Effects: Reaction Fire, Cold Void 5. Stratagems: Both players have access to the Stratagems listed below, assuming they are able to accurately represent them with models they have brought. SECONDARY OBJECTIVES 1. Slay the Warlord: If, at the end of the game, the enemy's Warlord has been slain, you achieve this objective. Both players can achieve this objective. 2. First Blood: The first unit, of any kind, to be removed as a casualty during the game achieves this objective for the opposing player at the end of the game. 3. Linebreaker: If, at the end of the game, you have at least one model from one or more scoring or denial units in the enemy's deployment zone, you achieve this objective. Both players can achieve this objective. Each Secondary Objective achieved is worth. STRATAGEMS The Attacker may use Sustained Assault (3). The Defender may use Barricades (1) and Sentry Gun (2).

MISSION 2: CAPTURE GROUND *** READ THE ENTIRE SCENARIO BEFORE SETTING UP *** DEPLOYMENT MAP MISSION The two forces are trying to capture and control the field of battle. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE 1. Objective Markers: The objective marker in the center of the battlefield is worth 3 Victory Points. The other four objective markers are worth 1 Victory Point each. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game achieves this objective. Win Draw Loss 1 6 points 0 points SECONDARY OBJECTIVES 1. Slay the Warlord: If, at the end of the game, the enemy's Warlord has been slain, you achieve this objective. Both players can achieve this objective. PRE-DEPLOYMENT ADDENDUM 1. The players (or sides) roll off, the winner then chooses which of the table edges is to be their Deployment Zone, and deploys their force within 6" of their table edge. Then their opponent deploys their spearhead force within 6" of the opposite table edge. 2. Place a single Primary Objective marker in the exact center of the battlefield. Then, starting with the player (or side) who chose table halves, the players take it in turns to place an additional four (4) Primary Objective markers (for a total of five markers). Objective cannot be placed within 6 of any battlefield edge, within 6 of another objective marker or in/on impassible terrain or building. 2. First Blood: The first unit, of any kind, to be removed as a casualty during the game achieves this objective for the opposing player at the end of the game. 3. Linebreaker: If, at the end of the game, you have at least one model from one or more scoring or denial units in the enemy's deployment zone, you achieve this objective.
