The 49ers Foundation believes a community s most precious resource is its children. We support Bay Area non-profits that focus on providing our children with safe environments, supportive supervision, healthy life choices, and educational opportunities. Significant funding from the 49ers Foundation supports family abuse prevention, including shelters for women and children, hotlines, training, counseling and support programs. By funding intervention and after school programs throughout the Bay Area, the 49ers Foundation is able to keep at-risk youth on the path to success. These programs provide counseling, training and mentoring services for children as well as access to organized activities to keep them actively engaged after the school day ends. Many also provide at-risk and disadvantaged youth with vital information regarding the decisions they make in their lives and much needed guidance to help them finish school or gain necessary job training - aiding them in becoming thriving members of our community.over the last eight years, the 49ers that's only because it is.
