Development of Fire Propagation Simulator/CASTILLA Y LEÓN Accurate and high resolution fuel data are needed for fire prevention and use in operational decision support systems in fire fighting tasks. NEREUS Position Paper A regional approach to the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) programme Main goals of the Position Paper: 1. To inform relevant European authorities about the priorities and the requirements of regional and local public authorities. 2. To promote the awareness and debate inside the regions about the possibilities (present and future) of GNSS services and applications Document elaborated by the WG and approved by the NEREUS Management Board on 17 November 2009
