September 12, 2001 PART TIME APPOINTMENTS MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND LONG-TERM CARE Cancer Care Ontario Tony Dagnone Nominated as a member Tony Dagnone, of London, was President and Chief Executive Officer of University Hospital since 1992. In October, 1995, he was named CEO of the amalgamated Victoria/ University Hospital, now London Health Sciences Centre. Prior to joining University Hospital, Mr. Dagnone spent 25 years at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, including 15 years as President and CEO and Director of the Hospital Foundation. Mr. Dagnone is a fellow in both the American and Canadian College of Health Services Executives. MINISTRY OF MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS AND HOUSING Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement Board Normand Wilfrid Fortin Nominated as a member Normand Wilfrid Fortin, of Brooklin, is the former Superintendent of Business and Finance with the York Catholic District School Board. He also served as Superintendent of Operations and Treasurer with the Kirkland Lake District Roman Catholic Separate School Board. Mr. Fortin served as a member of the Ontario Association of School Business Officials and as President of the Ontario Separate School Business Officials Association. Ms Hoey is a member of the Sioux Lookout Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Sioux Lookout District Health Centre Board of Governors. She is also Chair of the New Hospital Fundraising Campaign and a Board member of the New Hospital Planning Committee. Robert Manseau, of Timmins, is a Management Consultant and principal of Commerce Management Group. Mr. Seethapathy is currently the Vice-President and Corporate Director of the Canadian Club of Toronto. Mitzie H. Hunter, of Toronto, is President and C.E.O. of SMART Toronto Advanced Communications. She is a former Manager of Communications with Bell Canada and was also responsible for Bell Canada's municipal government relations. Ms Hunter is a member of Canadian Women in Communications and Co-Chair of the New Media Village Board of Directors. Selection Board (Ontario Graduate Scholarship Pro2ram) Dr. Lorraine Clark Dr. Martin Kreiswirth Dr. John Goyder Dr. Pascal Van Lieshout Dr. Lorraine Clark, of Peterborough, is an Associate Professor, English Literature at Trent University. She has previous experience as a member of an OGS Selection Panel. Professor Clark has been teaching for 15 years. Dr. Kreiswirth is Associate Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies and has served on numerous committees, internally and externally. Dr. John Goyder, of Waterloo, is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Waterloo. He has previous experience as a member of an OGS Selection Panel and served as Chair from 1994 to 1995. Professor Goyder is Interim Co-Director of the University of Waterloo Survey Research Centre. Dr. Pascal Van Leishout, of Toronto, is an Assistant Professor, Department of Speech Language Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
