Drybrush with Zinc. Dot with Blue Haven. Base the hatband with Dragon Fruit. Shade with Cinnamon Drop along the bottom. Drybrush highlights with Electric Pink. Cape Base with Royal Purple. Apply a wash over the Royal Purple with watered down Prussian Blue. Mop to 1
soften and remove excess. Let dry. Drybrush with Blue Harbor. Shade with Prussian Blue in all the creased areas for depth. Spatter lightly with Blue Haven. Pumpkin Bats Base the Pumpkins with Tangelo Orange. Shade with Burnt Sienna. Drybrush with Spiced Pumpkin. Deepen Shading with Russet. Drybrush brighter with Tangerine. Base the mouth with Light Buttermilk. Line with Lamp Black. Dot the eyes with Lamp Black. Dot the pupils with Light Buttermilk. Base the wings with Lamp Black. Highlight the wing tips with Blue Haven. Line the stripes with Blue Haven. Line and dot the antennas with Light Buttermilk. Stars Base with Mustard Seed. Shade the left side with Tangelo Orange. Highlight the right sides with Light Buttermilk. Deepen the shading with Burnt Sienna. Shirt Base with Dragon Fruit. Shade with Cinnamon Drop. Drybrush with Electric Pink. Deepen shading with Napa Red. Dot with Margarita and Blue Harbor. Pants Base with Antique Green. Apply a wash over the Antique Green with Black Green. Mop to soften. Let dry. Drybrush between all the stripes with Margarita. Deepen shading in all the creases and under the cape with Black Green. Line stripes with Lemonade. Base the Pink stripes with Dragon Fruit. Line over the pink stripes with Dragon Fruit tipped in Electric Pink for highlights. Face and Hands Base with Dove Grey. Apply a wash over the Dove Grey with Zinc. Mop to soften. Let dry. Drybrush with Light Buttermilk. Deepen all the shading in the creases with Zinc. Drybrush brighter with Warm White. Base the eyes with Light Buttermilk. Shade the top of the eyes with Margarita. Highlight the bottom with Warm White. Float Burnt Sienna over the Margarita shading on the top of the eye. Dot the pupil with Lamp Black. Dot with Warm White. Use Zinc with the #1 Liner to paint over the zipper mouth. Use the same brush to drybrush Light Buttermilk over the zipper. Shoes Base with Lamp Black. Drybrush with Zinc. Pumpkin Guy: Hat Base with Lamp Black. Drybrush with Zinc. Base the Hatband with Antique Green. Shade with Black Green. Drybrush with Margarita. Float a highlight along the top of the band with Lemonade. Dot with Margarita, Mustard Seed, Blue Harbor and Dragon Fruit. Head and arms Base with Tangelo Orange. Apply a wash over the Tangelo with Burnt Sienna. Mop to soften. Let dry. Drybrush with Tangelo Orange. Drybrush again with Spiced Pumpkin, Deepen shading in all the creases with Russet. Drybrush brighter with Tangerine. Finish the arms with Lamp Black stripes. 2
Base the eyes with Light Buttermilk. Shade the top of the eyes with Margarita. Highlight the bottom with Warm White. Float Burnt Sienna over the Margarita shading on the top of the eye. Dot the pupil with Lamp Black. Dot with Warm White. Use Zinc with the #1 Liner to paint over the zipper mouth. Use the same brush to drybrush Light Buttermilk over the zipper. Shirt Base with Dragon Fruit. Shade with Cinnamon drop. Drybrush with Electric Pink. Deepen shading with Napa Red. Float highlights on the tips of the collar with Pink Chiffon. Dot with Margarita and Blue Harbor. Pants Base with Royal Purple. Apply a wash over the Royal Purple with watered down Prussian Blue. Mop to soften and remove excess. Let dry. Drybrush with Blue Harbor. Shade with Prussian Blue in all the creased areas for depth including the pocket. Highlight the pocket with floats of Blue Haven. Spatter lightly with Blue Haven. Frog in pocket Base the frog with Antique Green. Shade with Black Green. Drybrush with Margarita. Float a highlight along the top of the mouth with Margarita. Dot with Lemonade. Base the eyes with Light Buttermilk. Highlight the tops of the eyes with Warm White. Dot the eyeballs with Lamp Black. Dot the pupils with Warm White. Line the antennas with Light Buttermilk. Base the belt with Lamp Black. Drybrush with Zinc. Base the buckle with Mustard Seed. Shade the left with Tangelo. Highlight the right with Light Buttermilk. Deepen the shading with Burnt Sienna. Line and dot the X with Lamp Black. Stars Base with Mustard Seed. Shade the left side with Tangelo Orange. Highlight the right sides with Light Buttermilk. Deepen the shading with Burnt Sienna. Shoes Base the shoes with Lamp Black. Drybrush with Zinc. Base the checks, ties, & laces with Blue Haven. Finishing: Outline as desired with Lamp Black. For this project I thought it would be fun to add glitter. I used DecoArt Glamour Dust Paint Ice Crystal. Spray with DecoArt Acrylic Spray Sealer/Finisher - Matte. 3
