It also explores the idea that a visual message with text has a greater power to inform, educate, or persuade a person or audience.
Visual communication or Graphic design? Visual communication used to be called graphic design until quite recently. With the emergence of new media beyond printed matters, terms like communication design or visual communication became popular in order to reflect the increasing complexity of the field, and rightly puts the focus in the core of the business communication.
What is Graphic Design? Graphic design is the art of communication, stylizing, and problem-solving through the use of type, space and image. Graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated. A graphic designer may use a combination of symbol, typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to produce a final result.
