[For immediate release] * * * To Support an Inclusive Society and Raise Funds for Child Patients through Charity Run (, Hong Kong) Hosted by Lifewire and Co-organised by Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited ( Chun Wo ), and presented by Kai Bo Group, the Lifewire Run 2018 was held this morning at Ap Lei Chau Wind Tower Park in Aberdeen attracting more than 1500 athletes to take part in the races. Over 41 organisations sponsored and participated in the Lifewire Run 2018 event. Net proceeds will be donated to Lifewire for addressing child patient cases. Artist Ms. Vincy Chan( 泳兒 ) was the performing guest and also cheered on the runners. Ir Dr. Derrick Pang, JP, Founder of Lifewire, said, Following on the heels of its success last year, Lifewire Run has been held again this year. This worthwhile event continues to promote the Hong Kong spirit of mutual assistance by involving the participants in the charity run, while raising funds for child patients with rare diseases and supporting an inclusive society. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the active involvement of all participants who took concrete action to show their support to child patients. I hope that the public will continue to demonstrate the spirit of inclusion and mutual assistance, and help other people in need within society. This year, the Lifewire Run held individual races of 1km, 3km and 8km in length, including an individual race and corporate race category, together with a Carnival featuring Lai Yuen's retro style. Highlights of the carnival included many retro style game booths and 4D photo booths featuring bygone days of Hong Kong, allowing the athletes and their families and relatives to join and reminisce about the good old days of Hong Kong and have a truly enjoyable morning. -End-
