Choose your favourite Minute to Win it party games and let the fun begin! All the games are fun and challenging at the same time! All of the games use easy to find items from around the house. (Tip! If you have more than 6 people at your party set up different stations with a different game at each station or divide into teams for the games. ) Scoring: 1 st place = 4 points, 2 nd place = 3 points, 3 rd place = 2 points and 1 point to players who aren t 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd but complete the challenge. 1. It s Cold! You will need: Lots of winter clothing, gloves, scarves, Christmas sweaters, ski pants, etc. Separate the players into 2 teams and give each team a Christmas sweater, Santa beard, ski gloves, a scarf, heavy pants, winter jacket or anything else you have around the house that you would wear in colder weather. When the game starts, the teams must pick one person from their team to dress for the cold weather. The team that dresses their player in the most items of clothing in under one minute wins. 2. Catch a candy You will need: A bag of candies with wrappers Split the players into teams of 2. Make the players in the teams stand 2-3 meters apart (closer together for

younger players) and give one player from each team a small bowl of wrapped candies. The player with the candies must unwrap one and throw it so that his/her partner can catch it in his/her mouth. The team that catches the most candies after one minute wins! 3. Christmas Antlers You will need: Pantyhose, balloons (not inflated) Split the players into 2 or 3 teams and give each team a bag of balloons and a pair of pantyhose. The teams must blow up balloons and stuff them into a pair of pantyhose. When the team feels their pantyhose antlers are complete, one person from the team puts on the pantyhose. The team with the best antlers wins! 4. Christmas Songs Rewrite You will need: Lyrics to popular Christmas songs, pens, papers Write out or print out lyrics to popular Christmas songs, such as Jungle Bells, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas or Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, then give each player a paper and a pen. The players have 1 minute to pick a song and rewrite the lyrics. After the minute is finished, the player sings his new lyrics to the group. The best rewritten song wins! 5. Cookie Shuffle You will need: A packet of cookies Give each player a cookie to put on their forehead. The first player to get the cookie from his/her forehead to his/her mouth without using his/her hands wins!

6. Snow ball shake You will need: An empty box (such as a large tissue box, a small shoe box etc) with a hole in the top, a rope or belt, ping pong balls (these are your snowballs ). Use the rope or belt to attach the box to the player s back. Fill the box with ten ping pong balls. The players must then jump, dance, and wiggle around to get all of the ping pong balls out of the box in one minute. 7. No time like the present You will need: 5 gift bags of varying sizes Place the five gift bags on the floor in front of a table. One at a time, the players must use their mouths to transfer the gift bags from the floor to the table. The only body parts allowed to touch the floor are the players feet! 8. Ornament Roll player to complete this task wins! You will need: Round non-breakable holiday ornaments Designate a starting line and a finishing line across the room from each other. Give each player a round non-breakable holiday ornament. The players must get on their hands and knees and roll the ornament using their nose to the finish line. The first 9. Present guessing game You will need: 5 boxes, wrapping paper, a packet of candies. Put different amounts of sweets into 5 boxes and wrap them so that they look like Christmas presents. (Write the number in miniature on the bottom of the box to remind you of how many sweets are in the box!) The players shake the

boxes to hear the candies and arrange the boxes in order of most amounts of bells to least amount of bells. The players that guess correctly are the winners. 10. Present Time! You will need: Wrapped empty boxes (one for each player), several pairs of ski gloves. Before the game starts, wrap one box for each player. One at a time, have the players put on ski gloves and try to open their presents in under one minute. 11. Red Christmas Tree 13. Reindeer Nose Transfer You will need: 36 red plastic cups One at a time, give a player 36 red solo cups to stack into a pyramid, or Christmas tree, and then take back down again. 12. Red Light You will need: Red pompoms, Vaseline, empty bowls Supply each player with a bowl of red pompoms, Vaseline and an empty bowl. The players must put Vaseline on their noses, then use their noses to transfer the red pompoms into the empty bow. The player that transfers the most pompoms in under 1 minute wins. You will need: 25 red plastic cups, 1 white plastic cup. Give each player a stack of red plastic cups with 1 white cup at the top of the stack. The player must transfer the white cup to the bottom of the stack by taking red cups from the bottom and moving them to the top. The player to do this in under one minute wins!

14. Shovelling Snow You will need: Paper bowls, spoons, large bowl full of cotton balls. Supply each player with an empty bowl and a spoon. Tell the players that they have to transfer the cotton balls into the empty bowl using the spoon. The first player to get 10 balls wins. 15. Snowman Stack You will need: Bags of large marshmallows Supply each player with a bag of large marshmallows and have them stack 3 marshmallows on top of each other to resemble a snowman. See who can make the most marshmallow snowmen in under 1 minute. 16. Unwrap a treat You will need: A bag of wrapped chocolates Give each player 2 handfuls of wrapped chocolates. The players can only use 1 hand to unwrap as many chocolates as possible in 1 minute. The player to unwrap the most wins! 18. Winter Storm You will need: Christmas cards Set up 5 Christmas cards on a table. One at a time players have to try to blow the cards almost off the table so that they are hanging by one side of the card. The player with the most cards hanging off the table after 1 minute wins! 17. White Christmas You will need: Cans of Whipped Cream, plates Supply each player with two cans of whipped cream and a plate. See which player can make the tallest Christmas tree using the whipped cream in under 1 minute.

19. Marshmallow Wreath Game You will need: A wreath, a small bucket or a large bowl, a large packet of marshmallows This game is simple, attach a wreath to a bucket, get marshmallows. Stand a distance back from the wreath and see how many marshmallows you can get into your bucket in one minute. 20. Snowman Bowling 21. All wrapped up You will need: White paper cups, felt tip pens to draw the snowman faces, a ball Stack the cups and roll the ball from a distance away to try to knock as many cups as possible. Whoever knocks the most cups wins. You will need: A lot of rolls of toilet paper. Large Black circles cut from black cardboard, strips of red crepe paper. Arrange people into teams one person will be wrapped by their team. The first team to fully wrap their teammate and place the buttons and red scarf wins. 22. Snowball Fight You will need: Large amounts of paper Make a dividing line through the middle of the playing area. Place the paper on both sides of the player area. At the start of the game the players will roll up the paper and have a snowball fight. At the end of the minute the player or team with the least number of snowballs on their side is the winner.
