The exact date and location is not known at this time. Third Generation 5. Johannes Peter Herman Voss (Johannes Peter-2, Peter-1) was born on 2 March 1917 in Belmermoor, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. 21 Johannes immigrated with his mother, Mathilde, from Belmermoor, Germany to America on 29 December 1921. They sailed on the ship Mount Clay from Hamburg to the Port of New York. Their final destination upon entering the United States is noted as Johannes' uncle, John Bannick, living in Lake Benton, Minnesota. 22 He died on 4 October 1997 at the age of 80 in Union County, South Dakota. 23 Johannes Peter Herman Voss and Edna Mary Briggle were married on 12 June 1941 in Alcester, Union County, South Carolina. 24 Edna Mary Briggle, daughter of Lee L.
