1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY CAN-AK is providing this final project report to outline and demonstrate the complete success of the job by detailing the primary objectives and scope of the job, the methodology used in performing the job, and the key benefits provided to Company 1 project at upon CAN-AK s completion of its High Velocity Chemical Clean and Hot Oil Flush on Asset 1 Lube oil and Control Oil Systems, the purification of the oil in Asset 2 and Asset 3, and the chemical cleaning and hot oil flush of Asset 4. 2.0 INTRODUCTION CAN-AK was contacted to conduct a high velocity chemical cleaning, system purification, and decontamination of Company 1 s Asset 1 lube oil system and control oil system, purify oil in the Asset 2 and Asset 3 tanks, and do a commissioning flush of the Asset 4 system as well. Using CAN-AK s proprietary chemical cleaning methods and filtration technology, CAN- AK removed all the contamination from the Asset 1 systems and associated piping and returned it to proper operating conditions, purified the oil in Asset 2 and Asset 3, and prepared Asset 4 for commissioning. Bacteria Colony Image Particulate in Filters 3.0 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES CAN-AK s objective was to restore Company 1 s systems back to or surpassing the industry standards, OEM specification, and Company 1 requirements. System cleanliness was verified by 100 mesh API 614 screening analysis and ISO4406:1999 as verified by CAN-AK s MP Filtri LPA 2 Laser Particle Counter. 4.0 PROJECT SCOPE CAN-AK provided their tools, equipment, and manpower required for every aspect of the job. 3 P a g e

CAN-AK performed all necessary connections and disconnections of our equipment to the system. CAN-AK provided real time onsite verification through twice daily screens done to API 614 standards with additional screens provided at customer s request in addition to periodic particle count tests to ISO4406:1999 standards. 5.0 METHODOLOGY CAN-AK used a multi stage process on Asset 1 in order to maximize the effectiveness of their cleaning methods for superior results. The first stage required the evacuation of all contaminated fluid from the system and the introduction of an internal surface cleaning solution to be circulated through CAN-AK s multistage filtration system. The second stage comprised of a full chemical clean and passivation of the system. The third stage used a high velocity oil flush on the system s oil piping. The fourth and final stage concluded the process with a fluid purification of the lubricating oil. 6.0 TIMELINE From May 20 May 30, 4 CAN-AK Technicians and 1 Project Manager conducted a hot oil flush on two Asset 1 shell & tube heat exchangers until proven clean via routinely run screens. From May 3 June 9, 6 CAN-AK Technicians and 1 Project Manager rigged into the Asset 1 system by removing various spool pieces, installing jumpers, valves, blinds, and all other necessary equipment. From June 10 June 25, CAN-AK conducted a full chemical clean and oil flush of the Asset 1 system. Concurrently, CAN-AK also conducted a purification of the oil in the Asset 2 and Asset 3 tanks. From June 26 June 30, CAN-AK rigged out of the Asset 1 system and begin rigging into Asset 4. From July 1 July 5, CAN-AK conducted a flush on the Asset 4 system before rigging out and leaving site on July 7. 7.0 KEY BENEFITS Extended life of the system Improved efficiency Ensured system cleanliness Minimization of future maintenance and repair costs 4 P a g e

Tank Before and After 10.0 CONCLUSION The project was concluded to the specification of Company 1. All solid contamination was removed from the Asset 1 lube oil and seal oil systems. The systems were successfully cleaned to the satisfaction of Company 1 through both visual inspection of 100 mesh screens as well as particle counts using CAN-AK s laser particle counter. Particle counts were brought to ISO standards on the oil in tanks of Asset 2 and Asset 3 and all free and emulsified water was removed from the oil in these tanks. Asset 4 was successfully prepared for commissioning by removing all solid contaminants from the system and achieving a particle count exceeding ISO standards in the charge oil. CAN-AK would like to thank Company 1 for the opportunity to work together toward a common goal. CAN-AK appreciates your business and looks forward to many opportunities for business in the future. Respectfully submitted by: Mr. Author Field Technician, CAN-AK 8 P a g e
