Ida May Wrightstone (1885 1931) Ida May Wrightstone was the only daughter born to Michael Wrightstone and Eliza Eliza Jane Kline on July 6 th 1885 in the Shepherdstown area of Upper Allen Township located in southern Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 1 Ida was 19 years old when she married 21 year old Jonathan I. May on February 2 nd 1904 by Reverend J.D. Clippinger, Minister of the United Brethren Parsonage in Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. 2 Jonathan was born to Jerry R. 3 and Catherine (Kate) May 4 on November 23 rd 1882 5 in Newberrytown York County Pennsylvania. 6 When they married, Ida was a close neighbor of Jonathan, who lived at the Graham School House of present day Route 114, 1 mile east of Mechanicsburg Cumberland County Pennsylvania. He was the grandson of Jesse May and Eliza Sipe/Seip/Seib. Ida May died in 1931, and is buried at the Filey s Church and Cemetery located in Monaghan Township York County Pennsylvania. 7 At the time Jonathan was a laborer for the Reading Railroad Company in Bowmansdale Pennsylvania. After Ida died Jonathan went to live with Edith Wrightstone, Ida s brother Frank s wife, at 7 West Green Street Shiremanstown Pennsylvania. Frank had died in 1929, and Jonathan continued to live there until he died in 1951. Jonathan died May 9 th 1951, 8 and was laid to rest with Ida, and their daughter Beulah, at Filey s Church and Cemetery. Ida and Jonathan May had four children. i. Bessie Minerva May (1905-1993) ii. Warren T. May (1908-1989) iii. Jesse A. May (1910-1980) iv. Beulah Irene May (1913-1958) Bessie M. May (1905-1993) Bessie Minerva May 9 was born on September 8 th 1905 10 to Ida Wrightstone and Jonathan May in the Shepherdstown area of Upper Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Bessie married her cousin Eugene R. Wrightstone, who is Ida s brother, the son of William Elmer Wrightstone. 11 They would live in Enola East Pennsboro Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Eugene died June 1978 in Enola, Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Bessie died on February 7 th 1993 and was laid to rest in the Rolling Green Cemetery in Lower Allen Township of Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 12 Eugene and Bessie had one child. i. Helen Romaine Wrightstone was born March 1928. At 20 years old Helen married 22 year old Julian Dewitt Smith on April 10 th 1948 in Harrisburg Dauphin County Pennsylvania. Julian was born 1926 to James Monroe Smith and Grace Ethel Witts. 13 Helen currently lives in Ohio.

Warren T. May (1908-1989) Warren T. May was born on November 29 th 1908 to Ida Wrightstone and Jonathan May in the Shepherdstown area of Upper Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. He died on March 16 th 1989 in Camp Hill, Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Warren married Cathleen on September 3 rd 1932. She was born on June 28 th 1914 in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. After their marriage they lived in Bowmansdale, and by 1940 Warren and his family lived at 243 East Main Street in Shiremanstown Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Like his bother Jesse, Warren worked as a mechanic for road construction equipment. Warren and Cathleen May had three children. i. Pauline May was born 1933 ii. Robert May was born 1935 iii. Living Jesse A. May (1910-1980) Jesse A. May was born on September 2 nd 1910 to Ida Wrightstone and Jonathan May in the Shepherdstown area of Upper Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Jesse married Helen Maria Liggett prior to 1940 in Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Helen was born on August 24 th 1914. 14 After they married the family lived at 217 West Coover Street Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania. Like his brother Warren, Jesse was a machinist on road equipment. Helen worked for TRW Inc of Harrisburg. She also owned and operated the former Helen and Marie's Beauty Shop; was a member of Mechanicsburg Wesley United Methodist Church; and a volunteer at Bethany Village. Jesse died May 19 th 1980 while the family lived in Harrisburg, Dauphin County Pennsylvania. Helen died Monday September 28 th 1992 while living at the Messiah Village located in Upper Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 15 Jesse and Helen were both laid to rest in the Mechanicsburg Cemetery located in Mechanicsburg Cumberland County Pennsylvania. 16 Jesse and Helen May had two children. i. Dorothy M. May was born in the 1940s. She married Mr. Bollinger and in 1992 lived in Carlisle Cumberland County Pennsylvania. ii. Jesse A. May Jr. was born in the 1940s and in 1992 lived in Fort Worth Texas.

Beulah Irene May (1913-1958) Beulah Irene May was born in October 1913 to Ida Wrightstone and Jonathan May in the Shepherdstown area of Upper Allen Township Cumberland County Pennsylvania. Beulah married John C. Smith who was born sometime between January and April 1882 in Ohio to Peter and Mary C. Smith. Beulah died October 1958 in Harrisburg Dauphin County Pennsylvania. Beulah and John Smith s Children: 17 i. Elaine May Smith who was born on February 14 th 1934 in Harrisburg Dauphin County Pennsylvania. She lived with her grandmother, Ida s brother Frank s wife, Edith and her grandfather John May in Lemoyne in the 1930 s and 1940 s. Elaine married Charles Robson on July 1951 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County PA. Charles was born to George Robson and Laura Lengel on November 9 th 1933 in Tower City, Dauphin County Pennsylvania. Elaine died October 14 th 2011, and was laid to rest at the Woodlawn Memorial gardens in Harrisburg Dauphin County Pennsylvania. 18 Charles died March 22 nd 2012, and was laid to rest beside his wife in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. 19 Elaine and Charles Robson s Children: a. Steven Robson was born on May 26 th 1952 in Harrisburg, Dauphin Co PA. He married, 1 st to Louise Raisbuck who was born in 1955. Steve and Louise Robson had: Leslie Robson who married David Brooks and they had: Annabelle Mae Brooks born in 2004; Adaline June Brooks who was born in 2007. Steven Robson then married Patricia Boudreau who was born in 1953. Together they had: Samantha Robson who was born in Boston Massachusetts; Sean Robson who was born in Boston Massachusetts. b. Marie Robson was born on May 30 th 1954 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County Pennsylvania. She married Peter Zirilli on October 27 th 1973. He was born in Harrisburg to Pietro Zirilli and Francis Krasovic. Peter and Francis Zirilli had two children. i. Peter Zirilli Jr. of Harrisburg ii. Liana Zirill of Harrisburg, Dauphin County Pennsylvania. c. Timothy Robson was born on July 2 nd 1960 in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He married Saliha Saghir who was born Moulay Bouazza, Morocco to Bouazza and Rquia Saghir. Timothy and Saliha Saghir s Children: Ranya Robson who was born on November 28 th 2005 in Philadelphia, PA; Zakaria Robson who was born January 2008 in Philadelphia, Pennslvania. d. David Robson was born on April 5 th 1962 in Harrisburg Dauphin County Pennsylvania. He married Mary Recker who was born on December 27 th 1966 in Saylorsburg, Monroe County Pennsylvania. Together they had: Daniel Robson who was born 1995in Massachusetts; Christine Robson who was born 1997 in Massachusetts; Brian Robson who was born 1999 in North Carolina.
