TRUE DIMENSIONAL SOUND Magnatone has come through the time warp and is here to do battle. The classic amp of yesterday has been brought in to the modern world and has never sounded better. Magnatone's invention of the electical vibrato amplifier circuit in 1957 was, and remains, a standard for true pitch shifting effects. Today's line of Magnatone models incorporate that same vibrato circuitry which, as aficionados know, includes silicon carbide varistors, as well as vacuum tubes, to achieve the "True Dimensional Sound" for which Magnatone is so renown; The Golden Voice. Vibrato is described as the rising and falling of a note s pitch. Tremolo is decribed as an effect that increases and decreases the amplitude (volume) of a given signal. After many years of R&D and serious artist input and testing, the new benchmark has arrived.
