The bank has been involved in financing of four of the Macau Gaming Concessions. BBAM has a growing membership and active events calendar, fulfilling its mission to act as a forum to explore UK-Macao business opportunities; for members and guests to meet and share issues on doing business in Macau; and to represent members' views and interests to government and the wider community. Mr. Brockman is a British citizen and a permanent resident of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. He studied at Durham University and has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau while pursuing a career in banking. Simões is partner of DSL Lawyers, which he founded in July 2007 after 11 years as managing partner of C & C Advocates. His practice in DSL Lawyers is focused on the areas of Property, Corporate Law and Construction assisting a number of investors in their local projects and set-up of their Macau operations. He spends much of his time structuring local corporations or advising on transactional work, namely property investments and acquisitions. Graduated in Law in Lisbon (1991), he moved to Macau the following year, and is admitted with both Macau and Portugal Bars. Appointed as a Public Notary since 1994, he was a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Macau Bar from 1996 to 1999 and is a regular speaker on legal topics for Macau Mr. Carlos D.
