CLASS 3 Holidays Homework Dear Parents Vacation time is here. You will be spending around two months of time with your kids. Here s sharing some tips so that these months are fruitful and enjoyable! Have at least two meals together with your children. Explain to them that hundreds of people work hard to provide them a meal, from a farmer in the field to a mother in the kitchen. Let children wash their own plate after the meal. This makes them learn dignity of labour. Encourage your children to read. Reading can unlock the keys to a whole new world of information. Based on the research by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), Reading is the single most important skill necessary for a happy, productive and successful life. A child that is an excellent reader is a confident child, has a high level of self esteem and is able to easily make the transition from learning to read to reading to learn. Take them to your workplace and let them understand that you work hard to support the family. Share your family history and childhood stories with them. Keep them away from television, phone and computers. Instead make them join a hobby class (anything of their interest). Allow them to play outdoor games as well.
Grandparents are a blessing! Our grandparents are our guides, teachers and friends. We learn many new things while enjoying their company. Now summmer vacations are coming it s the right time to spend time with them and know them more...
