Pending Narrative: Preliminary Investigation reveals V1 was traveling eastbound on State Road 90 ( SW 8 Street ) in the right turn lane, for unknown reasons lost control and rear ended V02 ( City of Miami Police Motor Unit )which was stopped for a traffic signal ( Red Light ) in the center eastbound lane of State Road 90. Impact forced V-2 (Motorcycle) into the intersection of SW 137 Avenue throwing from the motorcycle the driver onto the roadway. V-1 consequently lost control, traveled across the intersection, onto westbound traffic. V1 then struck 2 more vehicles, causing a chain reaction collision with several other vehicles travelling westbound on State Road 90 (SW 8 Street) in the two inside left turning lanes onto southbound SW 137 Avenue. Post impact, shows the City of Miami Motor Unit colliding with several other vehicles traveling westbound on State Road 90 (SW 8 Street). Traffic homicide is currently conducting an ongoing investigation. Updates will follow as they becomes available.
