Lastly, EVP Lopez talked about donating clothes to the Epilepsy Foundation, starting next week until December 10 th, to fund research for seizures related to epilepsy. He mentioned that clothes could be dropped off to the ASU office. VII. Discussion Items (5 MINUTES PER ITEM) A. Reminders for Clubs: Chief Delegate Lee brought reminders from Magaly, the Student Services Aide, who wanted to convey to the clubs that they should not be selling drinks that comes in glass containers because of the safety hazard broken containers can pose. She also reminded clubs to be conscious of noise level while fundraising in front of H9, and if a club wants to play music, it can only play it from 12 to 1 pm, during College Hour. Also, if clubs are selling the same food, they must sell on the opposite sides of campus. Chief Delegate Lee also brought up that if clubs are selling food combos, they can sell same drinks. Finally, she touched on the fact that grills were no longer available for clubs to use due to the fact that clubs were not cleaning the grills after using them, which prompted questions from multiple clubs, including ELAC Technology and Logistics Club and Respiratory Therapy Club. ELAC Technology and Logistics Club expressed that it was unfair that clubs that were bringing back the grills cleanly were being punished by the clubs who did not follow the rules; ELAC Technology and Logistics Club s delegate s sentiment was agreed upon by other club delegates. During discussion, the time allotted had passed. GO ELA Club moved to extend discussion time by five minutes. ELAC Technology and Logistics Club seconded. EVP Lopez explained that beside the capacity issue, which prevented the ASU office from being able to thoroughly check which club was returning clean grills, the grills had broken down and were taken to Plant Facilities for restoration. ELAC Technology and Logistics Club recommended that when the grills are brought back from Plant Facilities for use, ASU should appoint one person from each club borrowing a grill to clean up duties. The delegate mentioned that it would be good to have a designated person in order to increase accountability. B. Nomination of ICC Vice Chairperson Reminding clubs that at the last meeting, the ICC Vice Chairperson position was vacant and needed to be filled according to the ICC Bylaws, EVP Lopez asked clubs whether they had a candidate in mind that they wanted to nominate.
