The Twelve and a Half Questions Between You and A Brilliant Brand

Why You Need a Brilliant Brand Let s face it, we live in an increasingly visually literate and image savvy world. Who we are, what we do, how good we are at what we do all of these things are judged and assessed constantly by people we know and, more importantly, people we don t know. That s where the concept of BRAND comes in. If you are in business you need a brand that communicates to your customers not only the quality and value of your products and services, but also about your personal qualities and values. If you are an employee, a professional or on the career ladder the concept of brand is just as important. It help you distinguish the organisations that are most suited to you; your values and your skill-set. On a personal level it allows you to communicate those values and that skill-set more effectively than words alone will ever do. I specialise in working with start-up and early stage businesses that are Micro, SME, Female- Led or 50+ years as well as those individuals looking to improve their career prospects. You can now take advantage of some easy to apply, bite-sized snippets developed during my 30+ years business experience; the sort of help and advice my clients benefit from by working with me. In this guide I am going to share with you a really simple, but extremely effective, method for developing a highly effective personal and business brand. PS: Come on over and say hello on my Facebook Page for even more hints, tips and resources: www.facebook.com/littlepiggyuk/

Your Brand Is You You need to be clear about what you want to achieve: Who are you? Where do you want to position yourself? Who are you competing against? How successful do you want to be? So here are Twelve and a Half Questions to bring focus to your personal strengths, your business objectives and your company values. By answering these questions you will begin your journey towards building a truly sensational brand. 1. Do you have a clearly defined, and tested, set of personal and/or business values? My tested personal and business values are: 2. Have you identified the key message you want to convey through your brand? The key message of my brand is: 3. Can you clearly describe what makes you different from your competitors / others in your industry? What me different from my competitors is: 4. Can you clearly describe your target audience / target market? My target audience / target market is: 5. Have you got a Business Plan and / or Personal Action Plan that you actually use?

6. Do you know which colours, styles and shapes work best for you and your brand? The colours, styles and shapes that work best for my brand are: 7. Are you confident that you always make a great impression on the people you meet? I know I always make a great impression on the people I meet because: 8. Do you know how to network to ensure you make the best personal and business impact? I know I make the best personal and business impact when networking because: 9. Are you a confident public speaker? 10. Have you developed an effective Elevator Pitch? My Elevator Pitch is: 11. Have you developed the Expert Model in your business or your career? 12. Do you regularly contribute online (via social media / networks) and proactively manage your online brand?

To Summarise Remember the old saying: your brand is what people say about you when you are not in the room. Your brand must be consistent, compelling to your target audience / target market and (definitely) 100% authentic. It must demonstrate your uniqueness even in a crowded market so personal and brand messages must be proactive and articulate. Now is the time to shine because Your Brand Is You. PS. Question 12½! 12½. Do you have a mentor to help you improve your business; someone who holds you accountable and ensures you take action? If your answer is NO I would strongly recommend that you get in contact with me. Starting and growing a business can often be lonely and scary, but with my help, support and guidance along the way we will work towards turning your passion into profit.

The Last Few Words This is an example of just one tool that you can use to drive your business or your career forward. I have developed many more tools and resources to support my work with Micro, SME, Female-Led or 50+ years businesses to enable them to create secure, repeat, profitable income and employees and professionals to achieve the career they want. I often share resources like these on my website and social media. So, if you want more here s three things you can do today: 1. Do you want more inspiration? Then get yourself on to my Weekly Words of Wisdom mailing list where you will receive a weekly spark to energise you and your business. 2. If you want EVEN MORE complimentary tips, advice and info from me get yourself over to my Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/littlepiggyuk/) and Like it. 3.
