1 Introduction to Optime, was founded in 2005 at its current headquarter in Notodden, Telemark in Norway. In addition to various other subsidiary companies, the Houston, TX, USA registered is a fully owned and operated subsidiary supporting amongst other's North and South America markets. During 2016 Optime Subsea merged with Telemark Technologies AS and through this consolidation, inherited Telemark Technologie s line of existing products and engineering capabilities, primarily targeting the subsea oil and gas market. Optime Subsea on the other hand had its expertise as a system engineering and services provider, also within the subsea oil and gas market but more specific to the well access / well intervention segment. The combination of these two organizations expertise, products and capabilities have successfully diversified Optime Subsea to several other industries, segments and customers globally. Although Optime is continuously in pursuit of venturing in new areas, the current priorities are primarily towards subsea oil and gas, defense, marine / offshore, research and development institutions, in addition to sustainable food development technology. Having a broad range of experience and competence allows Optime being positioned in several different areas industries always delivering innovative and simple solutions. This is made possible through Optime Subsea s ability to complement its core competence with the right collaboration and partners, with the end objective of ultimately delivering customer success. Optime s diversification is a result of continuous focus on the core innovative technical and operational areas supporting the various customer challenges. Optime is not the typical provider in any of the industries it operates within, instead striving to be the preferred partner of the most innovative and optimized solutions focus on same quality at lower operational cost. Optime Subsea s products and services illustrates this ability of providing the market different and more cost-efficient solutions. This is specific to areas across industries globally within test & assembly services, system engineering & development, hydraulic and mechanical technically advanced products, software, controls and automation systems. We appreciate the interest you may have in Optime Subsea and will do our outmost to exceed any expectations if not, let us know to insure the mistake is resolved.
2 Products Optime s broad selection of products are targeted around simplification, modularity and an overall cost and operational optimization for the end client. By leveraging its system engineering expertise, Optime has developed a unique range of quality products offering an overall system and operational savings. This is done through consideration of the various modes of operations and interfaces with components and systems. As per Optime Subsea s design philosophy, the following illustrated products are offered individually or part of one or more of Optime Subsea s system solutions. The products and systems are what is considered Optime Subsea s core expertise, traditionally founded upon a highly technical and innovative subsea oil and gas design philosophy but with the flexibility to be leveraged across other industries and applications. This includes amongst others the control and automation systems with Optime Subsea s inhouse software, subsea hydraulic pump which may be used in multiple systems and functions to reduce topside equipment and HSE risk. In addition to the optimized hyperbaric pressure vessel/chamber used in multiple industries, including high pressure food processing. These products are making up systems ranging from subsea hydraulic power units, chemical skids, installation workover completion systems (IWOCS), completion systems through to plug and abandonment operations. 3 Services Optime Subsea is not limited to providing a single product or a system, it provides a complete range of service, including operational services. To successfully provider customer success, it may sometimes be necessary to offer support from the start, defining the problem and all the way through planning, execution, delivery and full life of field support, including service and maintenance. Optime Subsea offers these services through senior technical and operational engineering support, including system engineers, product specific engineers, designers, analysis and all related project management support functions. In addition to the technical expertise making up Engineering Optime Subsea s core competency, the test and assembly workshop is a key part of ultimately delivering quality in the end products and systems. Optime have its own workshop(s), with a test center comprising of a 690-bar hyperbaric pressure/testing system. In addition, Optime have through its affiliated companies, additional machining and fabrication capabilities in both Norway and the US. 4 Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Optime Subsea as a manufacturer of various products for different industries is certified in the following quality management and construction code standards: NS-EN ISO 9001:2008 NS-EN ISO 14001:2004 OHSAS 18001:2007 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), Section VIII, including stamping authority. A quality product is only a result of having quality implemented at the core of the company culture, engrained in both people and processes. This starts from understanding customer s requirements through to internal execution, communication with customer and building partnership with a reliable 3 rd party supply chain. This is ultimately translated into simpler, better and more cost-efficient solutions serving the end client. The culture of Optime Subsea is built around transparency, diligence and personal commitment, so the considerations in the offerings is held to the highest standard also when it comes to maintaining a zero health and safety incident environment, with focus on solutions improving the environmentally impact this may have. A part of this is always being challenged and always improving from the current or previous solutions. 5 Partners & Supply chain To be the long term preferred provider of simple, cost efficient solutions, it is important to maintain the culture that helped construct these fundamentals. Therefore, Optime Subsea prefer collaboration across industries, horizontally and vertically, to ensure the most optimized value creation is realized in the end solutions for the customers. By focus on collaboration it is possible to stay focused on what Optime delivers as unique, while leveraging expertise in others and other areas. Optime Subsea would therefore rely on key suppliers, partners that are improving the value of the end product not necessarily part of Optime s core competency within system engineering, design, analysis, test and assembly. All such partners and suppliers are vetted and verified through regular quality reviews, assessments, and performance rankings, a normal process of Optime s quality management.
