Welcoming the IESI Mapping 2016 Aims & Objectives The aim of the new Mapping 2016 is to enrich the IESI Knowledge map for the 3 rd phase of the research with a well-documented additional set of ICT-enabled social innovation initiatives. To extend and further validate the IESI Knowledge Map To map ICT-enabled social innovation initiatives in the areas of the PSSGI long-term unemployment; rehabilitation of older people; others To contribute providing a deeper understanding of how EU Member States can make better use of ICTenabled social innovation to implement the actions suggested in the SIP
Building on gaps & Expected results Further data collection is needed in order to balance the sample in terms of geographical coverage including not only in terms of EU28 member states, but also level of deployment, in particular initiatives operating in regional and local administrative areas. A structured database containing an inventory of 200 ICT-enabled social innovation initiatives The full 'documentation' of 100 mapped ICT enabled social innovation initiatives Consolidated analysis of mapped initiatives (IESI Knowledge Map 2016, integrating results from 2014 and 2015)
