The Central Cable Pattern (25 sts) measures 3¾" across. To save time, take time to check gauge. Shape Cap: BO 3 (4, 4, 5) sts at the beginning of the next 2 rows, then decrease 1 st each side every other row 13 (14, 16, 17) times. - 22 sts remain. Work 0 (1, 0, 1) row even. BO 3 sts at the beginning of the next 4 rows. -10 sts remain. BO. Finishing: Sew the left shoulder seam. With the RS facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 106 sts evenly along the neckline. Begin Garter St, and work even for ½". Next Row: K all sts, decrease 16 sts evenly acrossthe row. -90 sts remain. Continue in Garter St until the neckband measures approx. 1" from the beginning. BO. Sew the right shoulder seam, including the side of the neckband. Set in the sleeves. Sew the sleeve and side seams.
