Saddle Oak 2016 Old habits die hard with those who still chose to work the day. Our well-attended Pot Luck gathering was celebrated with a prayer for safe travel of our returning snowbirds and another prayer for those enduring Hurricane Hermine, as many SOCers have not yet returned to safe haven here in the park. SOC celebrated with a groaning board of food from the kitchens of our wonderful residents. A perfect way to celebrate our retirements from our lifetimes of labors.

Rest in Peace Frederick Congdon The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, we hum echoes in sweet refrains. For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. By: Paulette L. McNally So many sincere thanks to all of you who served and helped with arrangements as we honored our husband and father, Fred Congdon, at his Celebration of Life. Special thanks to Suzette Brown, Judy Miller, Ginger Pace, Toots Lobe, Gloria Paige, Jo Gearin, Judy Lott and Denis Dubuque. Many, many thanks also to all who attended the service.
