Aiman Age: 11 Favorite colours: Black and White. Favorite subject: Science No! Biology. What did you think when you were asked to sign up?: We were told there was a tournament for girls too. I was so bored at home all of the time, so I signed up! How did you feel when we first started playing?: I was excited, and shy. Why? Excited, because I would learn how to play football, and when I grow up I can play with others. Shy, because I m always shy! How do you feel now, after our month of practicing? Confident, because I know I ll be able to pass, do plays. Maybe I can make the team win. Shooting, passing, being on a team. What did you like about starting the team? I don t remember, but it was so nice. What s your least favorite part? None!

Precious Age: 11 Favorite colours: Umm, Pink? Favorite subject: Science. What did you think when they first asked you to sign up for football? I feel like I didn t want to join but I didn t want to hurt their feelings, so I joined. And what do you think now? I kind of like it. What do you like about it? Playing good. I like if I win. What s your least favorite part? Training...it s boring, because I get tired. But in the match, I m excited. What makes matches exciting? Because you get to work with your teammates, and you score. It feels good when you win. Why do you like playing with your teammates? Because it s teamwork, you have friends there. Will you play more after? No..I have lots of things to do. What if we have more matches, will you play then? Yeah! I like futsal better than the field.

Atefeh Age: 15 Favorite colours: Oh, how you say it, Mint! Mint blue. Favorite subject: Math. Why did you first decide to sign up for football? I love football, I love sport! How did you feel when we first started playing? I was shy and then I play, play, and I m more relaxed. Why do you love sport? I feel good when I play sport. Did you play much before we started the girls football team? No, because no one play with me. I cannot play alone! I like all of it! I really like to catch the ball from other players. So what did you think when you were asked to sign up? I was so excited, I like to do sport because I want to be strong. I wish to go alone everywhere I want. But you know, I really love to dance, and I want to be a model. I want to learn and be good at my studies, but I don t want to do anything with it. I just want to know about things. When I play football with friends, boys and girls, I like it a lot.

Dorsa Age: 12 Favorite colours: Black. Favorite subject: Sports. How did you feel when we first started playing? Good, because it was fun, playing football in a group. But before, actually, no one knows how to play football, so it was boring for me. What do you think now, after a few months? Good now, at least we all know how to shoot. Did you play much before we started the team? Yeah! I used to play with the guys all the time, now with the girls too. Football is fun, because you just get to play! And I like teamwork, but I not when people do not do teamwork. So no teamwork would be your least favorite part? Yeah.. Yeah, tell the girls to use teamwork.

Nayereh Age: 16 Favorite colours: Orange, Pink, Yellow. Happy colours! Favorite subject: English. How did you feel when we first started playing?: So happy, but the first time I was one girl, all was boys. Now it s better for me, 5 or 6 girls are there! How do you feel now, after our month of practicing? For football it s good, but now I wait for basketball, and swimming too! The girls all coming together and playing. But you know I like other things, I like photography too. I really love photography! And computers. Anything you don t like? No, all is good! What do you think about the team? Important for me to practice. We all must learn, not just coming to the field to see, but to practice, to learn. All of us. It makes me happy, and I would like to always be happy.
