TICC (Trunked Information Control Console) transforms your MPT Trunked two-way radio system into an integrated communication and control solution. Simple to use, but with more sophisticated functionality than any other system on the market. TICC is a Windows-based, touch-screen dispatcher that works with your existing mobiles and hand portables. It provides a complete communications and control console for typically less than half the cost of market-leading alternatives. Highly flexible and scalable, TICC can be customised to the specific needs of your business environment and scales to any number of users. TICC consolidates a wide range of control room functions into a single, easy-to-use console.
Communication And Control From A Single Screen TICC s touch-screen display ensures a more userfriendly, easy to learn operation than radio-based consoles. Operators can personalise the screen layout and configure the touch buttons to suit their individual job requirements. TICC is password protected to avoid unauthorised use. Managers are able to assign different user rights to each operator. Voice Recording all voice calls made to or from the dispatcher are recorded to provide an accurate summary of conversations in the event of a dispute or incident. Report Logging TICC s reporting module logs activity levels, recording the time, date and day, number of voice calls each hour, their duration and the parties involved. The data can be exported into Microsoft Excel and depicted graphically to enable easy analysis for management reports. Key Features Easy to use touch-screen display Configurable to individual operator needs Hot icons for frequently used features One-touch single or group call set-up Call status displayed on screen Different colours or codes for each team Alert tones to identify urgent or emergency calls One-touch communication and control Single screen solution Costs 50% less than traditional solutions PC-based, wireless operation No infrastructure required Integrated premises management functionality Interfaces with multiple user applications Enhanced Lone Worker / Man Down capability Built in voice recorder
Portable Solution - No Infrastructure Required TICC runs on any standard PC or laptop there is no need to purchase additional hardware or proprietary infrastructure. The software is a single dongle-protected application. Wireless operation makes TICC completely portable - you can control operations from any part of your site or from any location within range of your radio system. TICC s portability ensures business continuity, even in the event of control room evacuation. Integrated Premises Management TICC turns your control room operators into multi-taskers. A single, user-friendly touch screen provides instant connection to all on-site radio users. Routine premises protection tasks, such CCTV monitoring, fire alarm testing and equipment breakdown alerts, can interconnect to TICC and be monitored from the console, which makes less work for staff and speeds up response times. Access control can be managed from your TICC console via radio-controlled signalling initiated from the touch screen. Bespoke interfacing to many of your existing user applications is also possible. Usage Analysis For Management Reports TICC s voice recording module records all conversations, monitors traffic levels and stores the data on the operational PC. As well as giving you a real-time view of your operations, TICC provides an accurate log of all previous activities. TICC transforms your control console into a business management tool that helps improve resource planning. Enhanced User Safety Using TICC with your Trunked Motorola two-way radio system eliminates the need to purchase specialist solutions to ensure the safety of your workforce. Motorola s built-in range of enhanced worker safety features, including Emergency Button, Man Down and Lone Worker, are all enhanced by TICC. TICC checks all users proactively and raises the alarm to colleagues and the control room if there is no response from the radio within a pre-set time frame. A Proven Solution TICC was developed by wireless communications specialist and managed system provider Servicom Ltd, and has been available in the UK since 2003. The solution is already in use at some of the country s largest shopping malls and major distribution warehouses. Leading UK airports, universities, manufacturing plants and municipal authorities have expressed considerable interest in using it to streamline premises management and access control.
Customer Help Points Any persons in coverage area of radio system can summon assistance from a radio-operated touch point. TICC enables them to speak directly to the control room operative who can liaise directly with them and use CCTV if necessary to ensure their safety. Future Proofed With User-Driven Enhancements TICC is continually being updated in line with customer requirements to ensure it provides the most feature-rich communication and control solution available today. Updates, enhancements and application additions are provided under terms of the licence for a nominal amount. Customers are encouraged to advise Servicom of additional functionality they require so that it can be incorporated in future updates. User Safety TICC integrates seamlessly with the Emergency Button, Lone Worker and Man Down features in Motorola Professional Series radios. When a safety feature is activated, an audible alarm sounds on the console, together with the user s name or radio call sign. Future safety enhancements to TICC include pinpointing the location of the user raising the alarm. Control room operatives will then be able to advise all other users on the system immediately of their colleague s whereabouts and summon help promptly. Interfaces To Building Maintenance Solution TICC can be interfaced with your building maintenance solution (BMS) and managed from the control room. The local PC that manages your BMS can be networked with the PC operating TICC, which ensures that alerts are flagged up automatically to control room operatives and nearby radio users. Fault alarms from failed equipment may be interfaced into TICC, enabling staff to be despatched more effectively. Automated Access Control TICC allows you to grant access to delivery vehicles directly from the control room by installing two way radio operated touch points at barrier-controlled entrances. Drivers push a button to announce their arrival to the controller who checks their identity using CCTV. The operator grants access by touching a console button which raises the barrier and lowers it after the vehicle has passed. TICC can pass alarms to CCTV equipment to instruct cameras to PTZ (pan tilt zoom) to pre-programmed positions.
