In order to keep its leading position in an increasingly competitive and developing market, each year it invests 10% of its turnover in research and development by achieving successful results: from 1986 registration year of the first patent for a pneumatic gripper - to date, Gimatic has actually registered 168 patents.

The innovative product storage system, that uses 6 vertical warehouses, is the clearest example. Another concrete example is the creation of assembling islands equipped with all required tools and specific procedures that are provided by a dedicated personal computer and through which it is possible to realize any type of product. Whatever product has to be manufactured, who occupies that workstation is able to work independently and very fast.
