This group is for those who have some experience on guitar and are keen to rehearse and perform in a small group. Reperoire is mainly important.

Gym 4-6 Monday 4 5pm Gym JEL/CO 11.1.16 29.2.16 s This club is for boys and girls in Years 4-6. The children will work towards a Gym Display in February. They will have the opportunity to work in pairs and small groups on the floor and on small apparatus. The children will be encouraged to find their own music to perform to and to choreograph a short routine thinking about how they interpret the music through their movements. Water confidence and stroke improvement will be worked on with Mrs Draycott and Miss Vaughan. This includes selected recorder players and percussionists recommended by their teachers. String players should have had at least a term of lessons. The ability to read simple music is required. We recommend that all suitable instrumentalists join this group in order to gain important ensemble skills and to complement their individual study with sociable music making. A brilliant test of fitness, agility and concentration, the aim is to stack a pyramid of cups and then dismantle them in the quickest time possible.
